Brandon was knowledgeable and adept at delivering information
Nicholas was a fun and personable guide who shared great stories of London history. Enjoyed the afternoon!
By far the most interesting walking tour I have ever experienced. Tim gave us a view of London with many details interlaced with a lot of timely humour. It was the best spent afternoon in our trip.
Jason was AMAZING, fun and so knowledgeable. He was the highlight of this tour. However, I don’t believe the description of what I paid for was concise and clear on the Viator website. Just my opinion. I have done many other tours/different cities with Aviator, but this one in particular I thought it was going to be more than a walking tour in front of the monuments/landmarks. I’m glad it included the ticket to the Tour of London and Jason as the guide.
Our tour was fabulous. Ashley is a true expert on the history of the Royal Family. We walked right in front of Buckingham Palace and learned so much about the gates, statues, etc. Ashley is knowledgeable on all things London. The pace was perfect and we covered a large area of the city including a beautiful walk through two parks. I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to learn about the history of the Royal Family and the government buildings in London.
This should not be called the Westminister anything, we ended at Westminster and this does not include entry to westminister. It randomly includes tickets to Tower of London which is over 2 miles away from where you will end. This title of the tour is sooooo deceiving. You will walk 10000 steps but never set foot in a building. We were super disappointed and felt misled. We didn’t go over anything to do with Westminster or Tower of London. We did learn history of the places we walked by but skip that and get tickets to both locations yourself and save a precious 3 hours.
Well lets start with some London knowledge. Here we go..... Westminster is an area of the City of Westminster in London. Many famous landmarks, including the Palace of Westminster, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Westminster Cathedral, Trafalgar Square and much of the West End cultural centre including the entertainment precinct of West End Theatre. And for the price you paid : there is no way you would be able to enter all of these attractions. £300 ish would do it :) You were given Tower of London tickets : which granted you entry into the Tower of London...... This was explained to you a few times on the tour :)
Mark really knew his stuff and was entertaining and knew how to get us through the crowds. Great energy and great tour!
There are no reschedules if you're late. I allotted 90 min to get 4 miles from Spitalfield to the tour start -- not enough time. Plan out two hours to get there.
Or....... take the tube which is 15 mins :) London is a big city, traffic is always an issue. We sent you the ticket for the Tower of London and we would have been more than happy to let you do the walking tour element at a different time Its just the rudeness that upsets us here.... Be more pleasant and we will help you 100%
Our guide, Tonya, was both knowledgeable and fun. She was personable and brought the group together with a great dose of British humor. We covered a lot of territory but at a good pace for everyone. I was looking for a overall layout of the Westminster area and the tour accomplished that.
Lots of interesting history shared by a local a few fun facts that I’d have never known about and The small group was approachable and chatty which created an overall fun time
