It is not a tour - the guy on the boat expressly stated he is not a licensed tour guide. It is a ferry with multiple stops - not a tour.

Easy afternoon on the River Thames

Our boat ride was fun. The hosts were entertaining. While some facts were similar, each host had their own unique entertaining style. Easy pick up location too

Captain Prentice gives an amazing funny tour!

We live in London, but wanted to show some friends around the city quickly. The woman by the Globe boarding point (american short haired blond hair) was really sweet and got us on in time. We went to Westminster and the captain giving the guide was a bit...negative. Fine, not his day, it is what it is. But the 2nd Captain, from Westminster to Greenwich, was FANTASTIC! OMG, we've lived here for years and yet this is how I work out what a Wharf is? And that this little building was where Nelson lived? And why where we live, Limehouse, is called Limehouse??? Incredible tour. Honestly 10/10. We had an amazing time. Thank you Captain (Paul) Prentice for the great voyage. We'll be taking all our friends new to the city on this from now on.

This was a wonderful experience.

Great trip up and down the Thames. The boat is clean and includes a bar with snacks and beverages. The crew does a great job of describing sites along the way with a good mix of humor. There is a free audio guide that you can download on your phone, as well. You can get off in Greenwich to explore the sites and get on a later boat free of charge, if you desire. This is a pleasant journey and well worth the price. You will get views of historic sites not seen from land.
