Itinerary
Once your cruise arrives at the port, our team will meet you right outside the port when you arrive in Coxen Hole or at Mahogany Bay. You will be picked up in a private car with your personal driver, ensuring a personalized and private service. From there, we will set off to begin your excursion for the day.
Explore an eco-park where you'll have the opportunity to observe animals such as sloths, monkeys, and scarlet macaws in a safe and caring environment. During this 30-minute ecological tour, you'll learn about their behaviors and the importance of conservation efforts.
You will receive a wristband granting access to a reserved beach chair, restrooms, and a fresh-water shower at either San Simón Beach Club or Mayan Princess Resort on West Bay Beach. Enjoy exceptional comfort and attention throughout your beach day. When you’re ready, we will ensure you return to your ship on time, according to its schedule.
Timely and Convenient Return to the Port After your tour, we’ll take you back to the port with plenty of time before your cruise departs. We’ll leave you inside the port and make sure everything is in order before saying goodbye. Our goal is to provide a smooth and worry-free return, so you can relax and enjoy your trip.

Pickup Locations & Times
The meeting time is scheduled for one hour after your ship docks in port. Ship time and local time may differ, so we've adjusted the meeting time accordingly. If your ship's arrival time changes, the meeting time will remain one hour after your arrival. You can disembark earlier than one hour after docking, if possible, as our tour representatives are available before your ship arrives. Rest assured, if you're unable to make it within the hour, our representatives will wait for you. MEETING INSTRUCTIONS FOR PORT OF ROATAN, COXEN HOLE: After disembarking, enter the port and pass the shops and artificial rocks to your right. Turn right towards “Piraña Joe” and continue straight, turning right before the “Tucán Gift Shop.” Follow signs towards “Port Offices,” “Taxi,” and “Exit” to a covered pavilion with tour company stalls. Proceed straight through to security gate 1. We will be outside with a “ROATAN TUCAN ADVENTURES” sign. INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAHOGANY BAY CARNIVAL CRUISE PORT: Walk through the Shopping Center and exit via the Covered Gangway. Turn left on the road and walk uphill to the Security Gate. Walk down the small hill; our staff will be at the bottom with a “ROATAN TUCAN ADVENTURES” sign.

Fabulous day! Our guide, Sinthia, was very knowledgeable about the area and the history. We had our time at the beautiful San Simon Beach Resort before visiting the sloth, monkey park so the beach was less crowded, very smart on the part of Sinthia. After the beach we went to see the sloths and monkeys, so much fun! The whole family, ages 10-68 enjoyed the encounter with the monkeys. Highly recommend this excursion and specifically Sinthia!
Our family of 4 (2 adult, 2 kids) enjoyed the tour! It started at the tour meeting place where everyone looks for their drivers. After that we met our guide (Nickson) who treated us like we were a part of his family: gave useful info during the tour and helped optimize our schedule so we will get the best of it. Private comfortable minivan with AC was right what we needed! We've been to the beach and visited animal retreat with sloths (they were adorable!), monkeys, macaws and more. At the end of the tour got to the ship on time as planned. Thanks for the great experience!

Absolutely beautiful day with Roatan Toucan tours. Fred was our wonderful driver, who stayed with us the entire day. Great beach and the monkey and sloth park was a treat for our family.
Will never book again. People at the beach club were extremely rude. When we arrived we were waiting to be seated and no one would help us. We kept asking employees that would pass us if they could help us, but we just kept getting passed around. This occurred for about 30 minutes.

On the day of your excursion, our team was waiting for you at the cruise port from 7:00 AM, as scheduled in your booking. After several hours of waiting, we later learned that you had chosen to take a tour with another company, although we were not informed of this change. Later, you contacted us requesting to join our excursion at 12:00 PM. Although this was not the originally agreed time, we did our best to accommodate your request and adjust our schedule accordingly. Afterwards, you informed us that you no longer required the pickup and would not be taking the tour. However, you later reached out again stating that you had arrived at San Simón Beach Club on your own and were having difficulty entering. As soon as we received your message, we contacted the beach club to coordinate your access and validate your tickets. Thanks to this assistance, you were able to enter the facility, receive your beach chair, and enjoy all the amenities included in your reservation. Our company is committed to providing organized excursions, professional service, and personalized attention. We believe this situation was mainly caused by last-minute changes and a lack of clear communication regarding your plans. A great excursion! Kendrick was so friendly and full of information about the island. He was waiting for us when we came out of the port and took us to the eco park. The animal park was very nice and clean and you could tell the animals were very well taken care of. Our host Kenly there was great and made sure we all got turns holding or petting the animals. They have a really nice gift shop and coffee shop there as well. After that, we went to a beach club, which was extremely clean and the beach was so beautiful!! We truly had a great time. The only downside was the vendors on the beach that were nonstop coming by, which was out of the tour groups control. All in all, highly recommend!!
We had a wonderful experience with Johnny during our time in Roatan. He was incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating from start to finish. Johnny was sooo helpful with our bags and made sure we were comfortable throughout the day. His knowledge of Roatan and the island’s local spots made our experience even more enjoyable. He was professional, welcoming, and always happy to answer our questions. We truly appreciated how attentive and helpful he was during our visit. We will definitely be using Johnny again the next time we’re in Roatan and highly recommend him to anyone visiting the island!
Our guide, Tirsa, was awesome! It was just a girlfriend and myself so we were so happy to see that we had a female guide. She took us from spot to spot and gave us the history of the island which we appreciated. She was so helpful and snapped photos of us. Gave us plenty of recommendations for when we come back. Even suggested foods, restaurants and activities to try— which we did! I 100% believe she made the excursion 10xs better and would definitely do this excursion again. Thanks Tirsa! The animal sanctuary was so much fun! Not enough time in my opinion but we got some really cool photos and fun interactions. FYI: u can no longer hold the sloths but still worth it! The beach afterwards was incredible. Left us wanting to come back to Honduras and we’re already planning our next trip there!
Oh my gosh this experience was spectacular. Our driver Kendrick took exceptional care of us. The animal park (and our guide David!) was honestly a blast. Then the beach was just pristine and the food there was really good. We would 100% go again on this tour.
Our guide Ruth was sooo amazing!!! She made us feel so comfortable & safe. She communicated everything perfectly keeping us informed on time since she knew we were anxious to make it back to ship on time. There isn’t enough room to describe how wonderful Ruth was! The experience was nothing short of amazing. The monkey & sanctuary was fantastic. We had 2 15 year old boys with us who didn’t think they would enjoy it… they thought it was the coolest thing by the end! Kenley our guide at the animal sanctuary was great! He was very knowledgeable & gave us plenty of time with the animals! The west end beach was heaven! The water was clear & perfect! I would definitely travel again with this company again, especially if we were able to have Ruth as our guide again!
