Walking tour in Manhattan Brooklyn Bridge and Waterfront

Description
NEW: For a special treat, book my new Sunset tour offered at 6 pm on Saturday, and watch the sun set and Manhattan skyline come alive. All tours are delivered in English, and by the proprietor Scott, and feature small groups. Enjoy a 3-hour, 3-mile stroll with a 30-year resident of Brooklyn. I'll lead you to the most picturesque photo ops and find corners that only a local would know. Learn about the history of the people, eras, and technology that defined Brooklyn's rise. We'll pass by the homes of some very famous stars of TV and film, as well as through shoot locations you will almost certainly recognize from popular TV and films. You'll end up in NYC's hottest neighborhood, Dumbo, home of NYC's best pizza. Make time for lunch and, during warm-weather weekends, to browse Brooklyn Flea for a bespoke, vintage souvenir. This is a walking version of my popular, five-star rated bike tour, also listed on Viator.

Our tour guide kept us well-oriented and entertained with the history of the making of the bridge and the parks, while giving us tips for the best photo-ops and food spots!
Great tour. Scott was awesome! He offered to take pics of our group and others at multiple stops. It was great to get some pics of our entire family together. He was very informative and provided us with interesting and historical facts. Scott went the extra mile by sending us a text of additional NY recommendations for our trip. Must do this if you love walking and taking in great views!!
Hi Jo! Thanks so much for booking and for the lovely review! It was great to meet you and Fred! Hope to see you back in the Big Apple soon!

Hi Andrea! Thanks for booking, It was great to meet you and hope your stay in NYC was great. I hope you didn't feel the tour was too short. It is about 2 hours and 2 miles in length usually, but can vary slightly according to weather conditions and my guests' preferences.
Walked across the bridge , with the excellent guide , Scott , giving a narrative on the history as we walked . Very informative and engaging
Amazing, our guide scott was really good. Lots of information. Highly recommend doing this lots of great views , a great place to visit.
If you are wanting a tour guide that is loaded with information, fun tidbits about the city and will show you some of the best photographable sites-book with Scott. Full of personality and a great conversationalist. 10/10, great experience!
It was a top experience, fine guide who told a lot and adapted to us, took his time! Highly recommended.
We booked this tour at the last minute and we were so glad we did. Scott sent detailed instructions on where to meet, what to expect and even a lengthy list of restaurants he recommended if we wanted to eat while in Brooklyn. We were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves the only 2 people on the tour that afternoon, but Scott made sure to give us his personal attention. He answered all of my curious questions and provided extensive, interesting historical information not only about the bridge itself but the surrounding area as well. It was clear that he loves New York and Brooklyn in particular. Scott left us with lunch recommendations and instructions on how to take the ferry back to Manhattan if we wished. Such a wonderful way to experience another facet of New York city.
Scott was friendly, very knowledgeable about the Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn Heights, Dumbo area. We had a great time asking questions.
We took the Brooklyn Bridge and DUMBO Waterfront Tour and our guide Scott was phenomenal! He was very knowledgeable and shared so much information with us. He was easy going and always open to questions and allowed time for my many pictures. He would even take photos of us with the beautiful backgrounds. Beforehand he sent us an email outlining what we would see with recommended places to dine. A detailed map was also included which was very helpful. We never felt rushed and were able to see everything within the time allotted. We will definitely book another tour with Scott on our next visit to NYC. I highly recommend this tour to everyone!
