Our tour guide was excellent, she was very well informed. We had a 3 hour tour which was exhausting because it was so hot. We did stop for some water and espresso which helped us revitalize. We hit all the wonderful and important sights
Wear good shoes, hat.a lot of walking. But worth it. Our tour (Dominic) guide talk about Sicily history was interesting was very good. Patiently waited for all the guest
We had a great morning on our tour. It was a mix of history with food. Dom's sense of humor was on point. The food was good to try and the market experience was wonderful.
Excellent historical tour with some nice food added. Enjoyed this very much. Dominico was excellent
Domenico was a knowledgeable guide with an authentic appreciation for the wealth of history in his hometown. We very much appreciated his sense of humour! And we had the best Arancini of our trip so far!
The guide was very knowledgeable and funny. The food was excellent!
Would recommend. Good value and the tour really only scratches the surface as Palermo is so large.. this is a great opportunity to gather information to continue exploring on our own.. The food options were perfect, not to heavy and breaks up the walking.
One of the best walking tours we have ever done (and we have done loads). Domenico is full of information but he didn't overwhelm us; he took us to some lesser-known places as well as the must-see ones; the food he introduced us to was terrific and it was all included in the cost of the tour. I have never had as big and as delicious an arancino from a shop you wouldn't necessarily choose and the ice cream to finish the tour was great. You won't need lunch! Above all, Domenico has a great sense of humour so he was a pleasure to spend time with. He was very accommodating with the wide variety of people on the tour including a rather spoilt seven-yr-old who shouldn't have been on it - it's really aimed at adults. Six stars!
Equal parts history and food, which made this the perfect tour for us. Our guide, Dominic, was outstanding. He was informative and entertaining, helped us to understand the impact of the various invaders on the city of Palermo and took us to one off the beaten path place-the city Archive-which was one of the tour highlights. The market was fun and we sampled all the city's famous street food.
Great experience, Domenico Aronica was so interesting and had a great sense of humour. We had a baby with us and he was so patient. Food amount of food didnt need lunch! Thank you
