Our driver Salvo picked us up right out side our hotel. He was super nice, answered all our questions with great enthuziasm, and a big plus for being very funny. The tour was a very good combination of active and relaxing. It was really interesting to see Etna up close, and the wines and food at Gambino was really good. Would definently recommend to book this trip.
Absolutely perfect day with our driver and guide, Salvo! He was so patient and knowledgeable, and made a couple unscheduled stops for us to see some additional sites, and was incredibly friendly. The tour ended up being about seven hours in total length, thanks to Salvo’s patience and willingness to show us additional places, you absolutely cannot go wrong with him! We highly recommend!
This was an extremely interesting and fun tour. Our guide Salvo, is very knowledgeable and friendly and gave an extra personal touch. We parted as though we felt we made a new friend in Sicily. We highly recommend this tour and would also recommend that you prepare for some of the cooler temperatures on the mountain and wear proper shoes. If you want to explore a little bit. The Gambino Winery experience was incredible with very nice and knowledgeable people there as well. Lastly, the stop at the honey farm/store very fun as well and again very nice people there and a great tasting experience.
Excellent trip from Etna to lunch at the Gambino vineyard. Our driver, Marcello, was wonderful and informative. Wine tasting, food and service outstanding at Gambino.
Whole experience was first class. Did small group tour but just my spouse and I signed up so ended up being a private one. Salvo was informative, friendly and willing to adjust the trip and stops if you requested. Made additional detours to get limoncello and specialty Sicilian dessert. Definitely recommend.

Solo traveler always nice when the tour guides are helpful and even better when they sit in a café with you! What a fun day we had Peppe and Peppe as our driver and guide. Beautiful town of Taormina we were shown some sights taken to a canolli making demonstration and then time for shopping. Then to wine tasting and lunch. Such a great day driver and guide were fun, educational and entertaining

Highly recommend! If you are looking for an accommodating private tour, this is a must! The tour operator was incredibly pleasant and helpful and you can customize your tour to fit your needs. Salvo our driver was very professional and warm and friendly and knowledgeable about Sicily and Mt. Etna. He made our day that much better. The winery had all delicious wines and amazing food and the views were stunning! One of our favorite activities we’ve ever done on vacation!
