Itinerary
Explore the most emblematic monument in all of Greece listed by UNESCO, with an expert and official guide exclusively in Spanish. The visit begins with the historical, mythological and cultural context of this wonderful space.
We will visit the famous Parthenon listed by UNESCO as one of the most important buildings of antiquity for its perfection and harmony. Built 2,500 years ago, we will discover its optical refinements and all its legends. We will explain the history of its construction and the phases by which it became a church during the Byzantine period and a mosque during the Ottoman occupation. We will learn about its decoration and looting up to the restoration work in force.
Monumental entrance built entirely of marble to impress the pilgrim of the time and the tourist today. Due to its strategic position, the Propylaea functioned as a funnel in times of war thanks to its impressive topography. Discover why it was built with different types of columns. Essential point in the history of the Acropolis.
A true architectural jewel built on the monumental entrance in honor of the goddess Athena Victorious. A work carried out by the Athenians just after the victories obtained against the Persians, it achieves its goal to this day: To remember from generation to generation the most culminating moment of all Greece, the golden age.
It is without a doubt the most photogenic monument in the entire Acropolis thanks to its marvelous female-shaped columns, the Caryatids. Built right next to the Parthenon, it was consecrated to various divinities including: Athena, Poseidon and Erectios, the latter for being the first mythological king of Athens. Discover its legends and peculiarities. Why is your olive tree so sacred?
We will visit the famous Herod the Attic Auditorium with a capacity of 5,000 spectators built by one of the most renowned Roman governors in Athens. Dedicated to his wife Regina, it is today the only fully restored ancient building in use. It is here that the most outstanding performances take place every year during the famous festival of Athens.
Temple dedicated to the god of medicine Asclepius. Right in this space we will learn how the ancient Athenians cured patients and the types of votive offerings they gave as thanks.
One of the oldest theaters in the world built entirely of marble. With an incredible capacity of 17,000 spectators, its chosen space on the slope of the Acropolis itself managed to guarantee the maximum desired acoustics. It is in this space that the famous works of Euripides, Aeschylos, Sophocles and Aristophanes were presented for the first time.

Our guide was named Baggelis; he explained everything very well and answered the questions we had. We had a 5-year-old, a 10-year-old, and a 13-year-old with us, and they were very comfortable and entertained. Additionally, it is very well organized, and despite the fact that we were delayed a lot because the taxis and traffic were complicated, someone waited for us at the entrance and helped us find the guide. Thank you very much, everyone.
Efi our guide is amazing and made Ancient Greece come to life for us! She has deep passion and knowledge, and told us stories that we will never forget.
The Acropolis is a spectacular place on its own, but with Efi as a guide, the experience reaches another level. Her passion for history and the way she explains it made every detail come to life. Additionally, she managed to keep the entire family's interest; even the children followed the explanations attentively throughout the visit. Totally recommended!
Roberto has been a magnificent guide, explaining everything in a very educational way because it is not easy to summarize so many centuries of history.
One of the best experiences I have ever had. Efi is fantastic as she helps you appreciate each place calmly and with the historical background that truly matters, not just filling you with dates and facts. It is like taking a walk through the real history of each building and space. If you want an experience that is not the typical tour guide, but rather a warm, intimate, and unique appreciation, I highly recommend it.
Incredible tour! Whenever we can, my family and I take a tour in the cities we visit, and this one has truly been wonderful. The explanations and the ability of our guide to detail every aspect of the Acropolis have been inspiring. We felt welcomed and safe at all times. Thank you very much.
Effy truly makes the visit to the place special. The passion she feels for the site, the history, and her work is palpable and contagious. She explains in a very interesting way, linking historical events with geography and with what your eyes are seeing at each moment. He is very aware of the time, the sun, and the passage at all times. We would have loved for it to last longer to hear more about the place. Effy is interested in all the questions and inspires a lot of confidence to ask. The ending is very emotional and unforgettable.
We went with EFI as our guide, a person who quickly connected with the group due to her great professionalism and friendliness. We learned a lot about the history of Greece and why those impressive monuments are there. With brief phrases and a lot of content, she introduced us. It has not only been very constructive but also enjoyable. Throughout the visit, she has been an excellent guide.
Simon was a great guide. Attentive, very sensitive to the needs of the group, very experienced, and with a wealth of information. Super willing to answer any questions, polite, and very kind. We loved the experience.
Excellent experience, our guide was Simón, who demonstrated extensive knowledge. We went with our 5-year-old son, and Simón always kept him engaged with the explanation. Simón always had a key spot to achieve some shade and make the tour more pleasant. Truly, making the visit without a guide is wasting money! It is worth every penny!
