It's more than 8 hours travelling and a long day. Too little time in Salzburg. Also disappointed that the finnucular was not working in Halstatt
Excellent experience guided by Milo, dreamlike places, beautiful landscapes, and childhood memories, highly recommended.
Thanks for your genuine feedback.
Otavia was very sought after and professional! Excellent ride is great cost benefit! I highly recommend! Especially to the Brazilians
It was an amazing trip ✨ Fascinating places, a very polite and knowledgeable guide, Ilia, and a perfect atmosphere 🫶 The bus driver was punctual and professional. Everything was perfect! Highly recommend this experience!
I was disappointed with my first trip via TripAdvisor. I waited with my family at the agreed location, on the right date and time. Neither the bus nor the tour operator nor the other passengers showed up. Fortunately, TripAdvisor refunded the money. The phone hasn't been answered. There was no email. There was no answer in the chat.
Terrible idea, I thought. Too far to drive and see anything in one day. I was right. Very little time is allowed at either Halstatt or Salzburg. The guide, too, added very little, and spent most of his time in animated conversation with the bus driver. His spoken English was adequate, but when he did try to inform us of anything, he simply read off a card so badly he was hard to understand. (He did manage, though, to proposition my daughter.). The bus driver, while skilled at handling the bus, was completely unprofessional. He spent much of the drive conversing with the guide, answered his cell phone while driving, and, at one point, with the guide in the rear of the bus, rose up out of his seat to reach over the dash and answer the guide’s phone while driving one handed. At times he rested his chin on his hands at the top of the wheel. While passing through some beautiful countryside, with no doubt much history, the guide said nothing. Hallstatt was also without a lift at the end of the funicular which was news to the guide. The trip was also marred by rain, and while this is outside the control of the company, it would not take much to have a box of umbrellas on board to hand out in such cases. In our case, many passengers were left to buy umbrellas in Salzburg. And I agree with the previous reviewer: stopping at Halstatt just to take pictures of every passenger was a waste of what little time we had, and was used only to solicit favour towards the company. In all it was an ill-conceived tour badly executed. I do not recommend it.
We went to the pickup location in the ticket and arrived 20, min before departure, and the tour never arrived. After an hour we went back to our hotel. We had no contact with the operator and they did not respond to messages or phone while we were waiting at the pickup spot. The your looks like it works be amazing, but organization clearly was an issue
When I arrived my name wasn’t on the list booking so had to wait around to see if I could go. Then because was last on seats were limited. Stoped for very long toilet break even though there was a toilet on the coach. Said 15 was more like 30mins. No guided tour in either place just showed you weee to go. Not much information given about either place. Sky walk wasn’t included even though my trip emptied it was as said on title with sky walk. Ment to have 3 hours in Salzburg but with the toilet stop again and the guide wanting to be a photographer and taking everyone’s photos on the lock bridge it was more like 2hr 20. Would not recommend.
