It was wonderful! I enjoyed the free moving butterflies especially and the fact that there were rescue animals. Each display had an explanation. The staff was very good wonderful atmosphere. It was not expensive and easy to find
Lovely place, a lot smaller than expected so didn't take long to walk through it. Been to a few of these before and this was just as nice.
This was such a fun and gorgeous activity. There is so much beauty to observe and take in. Absolutely loved it!
Fascinating exhibits, beautiful butterfly garden. Very educational for all ages. One needs to spend at least two hours!!
It’s fairly small, but for kids it’s probably quite good. There were repeat families there. If you’re an adult you could probably skip it.
Absolutely stunning. So many butterflies and they make you feel calm just by standing still and allowing them to flutter around you. Really glad we stopped by
Though the Butterfly Garden is a ways out of Victoria city, it’s well worth a visit. The jungle area is enchanting with butterflies flitting around and many animals and plants to see. Magical.
This is a truly beautiful experience. You start by seeing some really interesting bugs including a huge glass enclosed ant farm. You then proceed to a rainforest (it's hot and humid so dress accordingly!). There are HUNDREDS of butterflies flying around, many coming quite close. They have strategically placed food in lots of viewing areas so you can really see them up close. There are other animals like turtles, koi fish and even a flamingo! This is our 2nd visit here and it is a peaceful beautiful place. I think the admission for adults is slightly pricey considering you will likely only spend about an hour here, so I knocked off one star but otherwise great place to visit.
The butterflies are most active on sunny days. Wear bright coloured clothing. Wear something cool, very hot and humid inside
The feel of the gardens was tranquil and I loved the butterflies all around us. I was impressed with the diverse quantity of different animals. Although, a little concerned with the small confines of such animals.
