Itinerary
Piazza Bra is the center of the social life in Verona. The square is overlooked by the majestic Arena and by Palazzo Barbieri, the City Hall. From there it is also possible to see the Palazzo Gran Guardia and the Museo Lapidario.
This incredible Roman amphitheater was built during the 1st century AD. The name "arena" refers to the sand that covered the stage where the gladiators fought. As of today, it is still used for public shows and concerts.
Herb’s square is the ancient Roman forum of the city. In the center of the square you can see the fountain of Madonna Verona, a monument representing the city as a beautiful woman. Today, the square is an important meeting place for the locals, old and young.
Juliet’s House is a must-see for all visitors to the city who want to see the romantic side of Verona. Dating back to the late 13th century, this tower house displays a bas-relief of a hat that, according to tradition, is the coat of arms of the Capulet Family. We will stop outside in the garden, without entering.
Also called Piazza Dante, for the statue dedicated to the most important Italian poet, Piazza dei Signori is framed by various important buildings, such as the Palazzo della Ragione and the Palazzo Podestà. This is where you will say goodbye to your guide.

Great value tour from a very friendly, knowledgeable and informed guide wbo clearly loves the city she was describing. Amazing culture and history very well explained.
Me & my partner had a wonderful experience on the tour. In less than 2 hours we visited the key historical spots in verona & learned a lot about its history from ancient to modern times.
With only 12 people, we had a local, very dedicated, well English-speaking tour guide who was able to tell us a lot, gave us good tips, and brought us the culture and lifestyle of Verona with great joy and commitment. It was a great tour.
Exectly as promised. Scrolling between the allies, crossing the river by roman and medieval bridges, learning about history, architecture and politics
Gave us a good overview of Verona’s history and architecture with a walk around the main areas of the old city,
Verona has so much history and so many interesting places to visit and the tour gives a great overview of this
Alessandro is SUPERB--I've been on many guided tours throughout Italy and this may have been the very best. He's deeply knowledgeable, articulate (with easy to understand English), and just solid in every way. Through the entire tour he wove together fascinating history of this city with countless recommendations of restaurants and gelateria. He truly helped us fall in love with Verona. If we were here longer we'd take his food & wine tour for sure.
Really enjoyed the tour and it was made more interesting by our guide, Laura, taking us off the main streets as much as she could.
This was our first trip to Verona. We were staying in Bologna. We arrived in about 1 hour. A tour guide Alessandro could not have been more pleasant, engaging and very knowledgeable. Because he was born in Verona, he knew much about the history and all the hidden gems along the city. He also had great recommendations for restaurants. Verona is a beautiful city and I would highly recommend a guided tour with Alessandro.
Laura , our guide was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour for when you arrive in Verona. It’s a great tour to learn your way around town and get to see all the points of interest. After you can spend your time going back and visiting each site independently.
