Very put together tour , the guide Maria was very well informed about the places we saw answered all of our questions Thank you
We had a wonderful experience!! Our tour guide was excellent. She was very knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about educating others on Verona's history and landmark.
I booked the "European Walks in Verona in german language" - announced as last 2 tickets - an get a confirmation. Some houres later the toure was canceled by the company but the ticket- price was already by the company. Taking the money works, giving the performance doesnt work. Its lawfuell but aufuel. Tarrible.
Hi Ranier, The tour was canceled due to incorrect language choice and it is refunded back to the card you used at Viator to book.
Guide was truly an expert. Hit all the major points at a reasonable pace. The arena is a bit of a disappointment as it’s set up for a concert/opera. You lose all of the ancient feel from the inside. My opinion is that Juliet’s home is unnecessary and could easily have been avoided.
Perfect introduction to the city Guide was amazing Learn the more detailed information about what you see A must to do before you go exploring on your own
Great basic view of the city. I would have liked more history information.
Booked this tour only hours before due to another company cancelling late as unable to provide a guide. I added Juliet’s house to our booking. The arena was a great start and is spectacular. We were only given 15 mins of free time there and personally could have done with a bit longer. By the time we had climbed to the top and back down it was time to leave! The walk through the old areas of Verona was beautiful visiting the many squares! Such beautiful buildings! We then went up in the Funicular for a view over Verona. Given some free time again and due to it being a scorching day we all raced to the cafe for a cold drink but again time was very limited here! A walk back down the hill and our tour concluded in the Market square to enable us to go to Juliet’s house. This was a lovely addition but very crowded with people! An enjoyable tour.
Friendly and spirituous guide, took us through alleys where we can see in detail the transformations that the city suffered during its long history. Tour filled with historical and architectural details.
A very exellent tour guide with superb knoweldge and ability to engage the group ensuring individual and group were heard and able to ask any questions. Also ensured our comfort in the heat as much as was possible. Would certainly recommend this lady's tour and do not usually make any recommendations.
Bring change for the public restrooms. .70EU to enter public restroom across from the meeting point. Very hot day, drank plenty of water and stay in the shade. Verona has plenty of porticos and shade sometimes a small lane but it works. Antoinette was extremely knowledgeable about Italian and Roman history. She powered through amazingly the very hot tour with patience and energy.
