Your first stop is a beloved café for the classic breakfast: Espresso paired with Risino, a traditional pastry that locals have enjoyed for generations. As you stroll through charming streets, your guide shares the stories behind the places locals love. You'll visit a historic Osteria to taste handmade meatballs prepared with time-honored recipes, then settle into a welcoming Trattoria for the star of Veronese cuisine: risotto all'Amarone, infused with the region's prized Valpolicella wine. The journey continues at an elegant wine bar, where a guided tasting of 3 local wines reveals why this region's winemaking tradition is celebrated worldwide. Your final stop? An artisanal gelateria for the perfect sweet ending to your morning.

Follow your local foodie, live a one-of-a-kind experience and, just like a real local, start your day in the right way drinking an authentic Italian espresso. This is how this culinary journey begins and after a brief stroll near majestic Arena, you'll deepen into the original local delicacies.
After a very Italian beginning, a classic aperitif is waiting for you. You'll stop in one of the most traditional "Osterie" of the city, where you will savor some local products, such as Soppressa (a type of salami), Monte Veronese cheese and the famous cicchetti from Verona.
Then discover the aromas and main features of the traditional local wines, such as the Valpolicella red wine, or the white wines coming from the East of Verona and Lake Garda.
The next step will make your mouth water: enjoy a traditional dish and discover some local culinary traditions with your expert guide. Continue your visit in the food district of Verona, where the most "Osterie" and botteghe are located
Finally, stop in an historical Gelateria to taste a yummy artisanal Gelato to refresh your mouth. This tour will allow you to see Verona from a brand-new perspective, made of great simplicity and unique flavors.

This was the perfect tour for us! We had limited time in Verona and wanted to make the most of it. Alessandra was amazing. She gave us just the right amount of information with each stop and while we walked to make it interesting but not overwhelm. I highly recommend both this tour and her as a guide.
Andrea was an amazing guide with current tips on how to enjoy the old town of Verona as well a brief bits of history that made for a perfect blend of information. The food stops were amazing, all small shops featuring local specialties. I revisited several of them on my own in my additional days in Verona and enjoyed their welcoming hospitality. It was a wonderful first-day introduction to the city for me.

It was very informative (thanks to our guide Romina Origano). She was very authentic, cheerful, and made the trip enjoyable. You can tell she loves the city and the people in it. She was also attentive and kept an eye on everyone's needs. Italy at its best. Bravo! The food and drinks were well chosen and truly delicious!
