Itinerary
We kick things off at Main Street Brewing, a landmark brewery housed in a beautifully restored 1913 industrial building in the heart of Mount Pleasant Neighborhood. Here, you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at the brewing process and sample some rare cask ale—one of the only places in Vancouver where you can try it. We’ll talk about how the Canadian craft beer movement took off and begin developing your beer-tasting skills with a guided flight of fresh, small-batch brews.
We head out on the streets to walk through Mount Pleasant’s Brewery Creek district—a neighborhood known for its vibrant street art, indie vibe, and brewing history. As we walk, I’ll point out local murals, hidden restaurants, and cool neighborhood hangouts. It’s a chance to soak in the creative energy of the area and get personal recommendations for where to eat, drink, and explore.
Our second brewery stop is R&B Ale & Pizza House, a local favorite and one of the pioneers of the Vancouver craft beer scene. Known for their funky beer styles and cozy atmosphere, this spot is all about bold flavors and community vibes. You’ll enjoy a fresh flight of beers you won’t find anywhere else in the city, while we dive into the stories of beer names, the neighborhood, and the people who built it.
We wrap up the experience at Faculty Brewing, a modern, experimental micro-brewery that embraces open-source brewing, sustainable practices, and community-driven values. It’s a welcoming, LGBTQ+ inclusive space known for its creativity and approachability. You’ll enjoy a final tasting flight in a relaxed setting that invites conversation and connection—plus, we'll share top local food and drink recommendations to help you make the most of your Vancouver stay.

The tour was laid back and fun! Nick was very knowledgable and showed us a diverse range of beers and breweries. Would definitely recommend.
There's no better way to explore the neighbourhood than with good beer and zero pretension. Nick will be stoked to hear this. Cheers!
Chad was a great tour guide. He took us to a few local breweries, we got to sample 4 different beers at each location, then we got a tour of the back where the brewing happens. He was great at explaining the flavoring of each type of beer. Not only did we get a beer history, but he gave an excellent history on the neighborhoods we walked through. I highly recommend this tour!
Sue, hosting your crew was such a blast! Love that our Mount Pleasant Craft Brewery Tour made the pre-cruise itinerary for your family. Hope the Alaska cruise was epic! Cheers! 🍻
What a great afternoon! Chad was awesome - knowledgeable and friendly.
Thanks Nick, it was great having you. Hope you guys find that perfect neighourhood to live here in Vancouver. Cheers!
The tour was absolutely amazing. The group and myself walked away informed and a little inebriated. Chad was super knowledgeable about the beers we sampled, the area we toured and everything else in between. Would highly recommend 🍻
Great tour today with fantastic company / super way to spend an afternoon. 3 great beer stops with lots of great beer to taste
We had a great afternoon. We booked the walking tour as we wanted to get away from being stuck on a coach and have a more relaxed feel, really glad we booked it. Our guide was excellent just the right balance of knowledge and friendliness. Felt like having a few beers with your mate but learnt a lot about the local beer scene and the local area. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough - Rich & Jen
Excellent guide Nick walked us through three craft breweries and discussed beer making details along with the tasty three flight tutored tastings.
What a blast! Mick was so knowledgeable and funny. Learned a ton, met some awesome fellow beer aficionados, checked out some great Brewery District establishments. Will make this an annual event!
This tour introduced me to three breweries within easy walking distance of each other, tasting a flight of four four-ounce pours at each. Our guide, Nick, was very friendly and informative walking us through each tasting, explaining the history and brewing process of the type of beer and the hosting brewery itself. Each venue was welcoming as well, enabling us to tour the production area at Main Street or giving us smaller tastings of beers not featured on the tour. The small group also enabled our group of strangers to quickly bond and have a really great time together. Although the tour does not include food, you spend enough time at each spot to order something on your own if you choose. Our group strongly recommends the string cheese at Faculty. This is also a great tour to take before a game. It ends with enough time for an easy walk to the arena. Thanks, Nick, for a great tour!
Joining Chad’s craft beer tour in Vancouver was such a fantastic way to explore the local craft beer scene! His deep connection to the community and knowledge about each brewery really stood out, making the experience both authentic and insightful. We visited three unique breweries, each offering a great variety of local craft beers. We were in a small group of 4, which created a cool atmosphere - it was like going out with friends and having a good time. We can highly recommend this tour with Chad to anyone visiting Vancouver!
