Our pilot Sam gave us a great ride. It was informative and we saw some amazing views of natural beauty along with great views of the Vegas strip. I’d recommend this tour strongly.
It was just ok compared to a previous experience over the Grand Canyon and tours in Hawaii and the Caribbean The tour operator ran late - and provided a bottle of wine as an apology. The headsets on the helicopter were useless for communication and the pilot was made aware of this - perhaps that is why he rarely spoke during the flight. We couldn’t hear the music that was apparently playing - all passengers experienced the same issue - I asked. On previous flights I have taken the pilot was the tour guide and shared insight about what we were flying over - not this time. Again he shared no details except when we were on the ground and asked. The safety videos were only shown to the four passengers that arrived on time - late comers were allowed to bring their purses out to the helicopter and didn’t have to lock them in the lockers provided inside the tour facility. Staff inside the facility was friendly and offered water while we waited. Obviously the views of the landscape are lovely and the best way to see this area is by helicopter in my opinion. But the next time, I will look for a tour operator with better communication tools onboard and hope for a more engaging pilot.
I have a booking for another trip, but only have seats for Grand Canyon . But it’s a good company and good service
Reminder it is a helicopter. Seating 4 in rear seat is cramped. Limited leg room and having to adjust upper body to allow room for others. The pilot and staff were friendly. Also would advise calling service after making reservations online. Due to online over booking, I was forced to purchase a more expensive package.
Thank you for your feedback. Viator clearly states in their important information that Helicopter tours require a minimum of five passengers per helicopter. In the unlikely event that your helicopter tour does not fill, you will be extended alternative helicopter tour experiences. The tour you were provided is 110 minutes flight time. We typically assign seat four to shorter passengers and heavier and tall passengers to seats five and six directly behind the Pilot in Command.
As a first timer, this helicopter tour surpassed my expectations. Our pilot (Christine) was personable and knowledgeable which is a fantastic combo for a tour. The landing was fantastic as we awed at the beauty while we sipped champagne and took amazing photos. The hotel pick-up/drop-off made this trip seamless. Five Stars!
Excellent pilot, complicated landing site but did very well the pilot, all the route very well over the city
The pilot was excellent and the tour is amazing. The views are amazing and worth the trip a must trip in vegas
We were in a 6 passenger helicopter. There is no way 4 adults should be seated in the back row. We were packed in like sardines and it was very hot. Miserable flight. Extremely poor views as the windows have a frame within a frame blocking the views. A sightseeing tour for $599 should do just that. Show you the sights.
Thank you for your feedback. In the interests of comfort and safety, passengers exceeding 250 Lbs (113 Kg) are required to purchase an additional seat. Our records that you were offered to purchase the extra single seat to make the flight private, however you declined. We require passengers to provide accurate body weights at the time of booking, as understated weights may cause discomfort, or may lead to being off-loaded from the helicopter tour.
The most memorable parts of our experience was flying over the Grand Canyon, Lake Mead, the Hoover Dam and the Las Strip and landing at the valley of fire - this was the best part!! Gorgeous views!
My fiance and I scheduled a Grand Canyon Floor Wedding with Laila of 5-Star Helicopter Tours. This was the best decision we could have ever made. We planned this wedding two months in advance although that was not necessary. Laila stayed in constant communication with us the whole way through to make sure we had everything we needed to make our day complete. This wedding was the most unforgettable, professional, well-planned, and emotional day that we could have ever dreamed of. From the limo picking us up at the hotel, the helicopter pilot taking us into the Grand Canyon, the professional photographer, the wedding officiant, the ceremony, the helicopter ride back to the airport, and the limo ride back to the hotel, this experience has turned out to be one of the best decisions we could have ever made. If you are trying to plan a wedding full of memories to last a lifetime, you should definitely contact Laila immediately to set up your today. I am so glad we did and you will be too. Thank you, 5 Star Helicopter Tours, for making our dreams become reality.
