My time with Tu exceeded every expectation. It's clear that Tu has a real passion for Vietnamese culture and a genuine and deep connection with his community. On our tour we made a few stops around a nearby neighborhood where Tu pointed out and explained their historic and cultural significance. Along the way, meeting several of Tu's friends and residents of the neighborhood gave me a deeper appreciation for the city's charm that I wouldn't have been able to experience on my own. This tour is what I think intentional travel is all about and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a taste of what life in this neighborhood might feel like. The chance to learn about and practice film photography is a such a nice bonus (Tu's expertise can't be understated) and I'm excited to receive tangible memories of my time here. This experience felt so much more than a tour and totally blew me away!
This tour was such a unique experience. We’re so glad we did it! We’ve been to HCMC before so this was a perfect tour to show us a local, non tourist area with a fun twist. Tu was an exceptional guide. We’re so glad we met him and took this tour!
I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a photowalk through the vibrant streets of Saigon, with Tu as my guide. Tu is a talented and knowledgeable guide who took me around local Saigon. I had the chance to meet and speak with local people while practicing my photography skills. This was my favourite part of my trip and I highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in photography and experiencing a culture from the perspective of local people.
Thank you very much for your love and your time chị ơi, missing you and your adventure attitude already!!!
Amazing! Was so fantastic to walk the streets of Saigon and learn how to use a medium format camera. Will definitely be an experience to boast about to my friends. Bui was a great teacher, making me feel confident with a camera I had never used before and has an amazing collection of cameras in his store. Would highly recommend this as a unique way to see Ho Chi Minh city.
Thank you very much for your time, hope to see you again in the next journey nhé!
The camera is a relic, it's amazing how old it is but its simplicity is the charm. It still takes good pictures, and it teaches you how to be more thoughtful and reflective because you only have a few photos available from one roll.
Thank you so much for your support, hope to see you very soon, anh ơi!!!
