We had a long layover at Heathrow in the evening, so we headed to the O2. It's an interesting place inside, but the magic happens on top of it. When we got to the top, it was dark. We toasted with champagne on top with a 360 degree view of London. The other two climbers with us had a tough time climbing because they were afraid. The guide helped them, encouraged them, and told them to take their time. Since we were behind them, we couldn't go any faster than them. Anywhere you stop, the view is great though. We are fit senior citizens, and had an easy time of it. I highly recommend this unique experience.
Really enjoyed the experience. Steep enough in parts to make it a bit challenging which we liked, and also great fun. Mark our guide was great, really friendly and happy to chat and take photos at the top.
