Fantastic, Geat wines and Host
Bruno was the most amazing wine expert we gave ever met, he made it interesting and informative. We can't thank him enough for a very enjoyable afternoon, outside was stormy and heavy rain, but we didn't notice!!!! Definitely recommend this experience. Jane and Terry
A wonderful time to learn from experts in a beautiful location near the arena. The instructor was knowledgeable, friendly and fun!
Thank you so much
Unique tasting that they offer at Enoteca Baraldi. Availability, kindness and great preparation are the masters.
It was a truly unique tasting that proposed by Mr. Bruno of Enoteca Baraldi, in the heart of Verona. There were 5 of us and we were all satisfied even for food problems, was really kind and helpful Mr.. Bruno. We tasted a white, Soave, and 3 reds, Ripasso classico superiore, Amarone and Recioto, accompanied by cold cuts, cheeses and chocolate. For each wine we have known the history, from geographical origins to harvest and how to combine it at the table. If you are in Verona you can not miss this tasting. Too bad we didn't capture a few moments, but we didn't because we were enraptured by the explanations. Congratulations again!
I recently enjoyed a fantastic wine tasting experience in Verona, hosted by Bruno at his cozy and well-stocked wine shop, Enotica Baraldi, just steps from the Verona Arena. It was a perfect mix of local culture, expertly selected wines, and genuine hospitality. The tasting included four wines — one white and three reds — with the highlight being a rich and beautifully crafted Amarone DOCG. Each wine was paired perfectly with quality meats and cheeses, making the experience both flavorful and educational. Bruno was an excellent host: warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about regional wines and their production. There was a small hiccup at the start: I was mistakenly directed by Viator to another location — their second shop, which is about a 20-minute walk away, near the scenic viewpoint. Thankfully, Bruno’s sister was at that location. She was very helpful, called Bruno right away, and made sure I got to the correct place without any issues. Despite the initial confusion, the experience was outstanding and well worth it. I highly recommend this tasting to anyone visiting Verona and looking to discover authentic local wines in a friendly, relaxed setting.
Thank you so so much for this amazing feedback!! It’s been a great pleasure meeting you all! all the best Virginia & Bruno
Very knowledgeable about wines of the region. Well stocked wine bar. Also very welcoming and friendly
thank you so so much for this amazing feedback enjoy the rest of your vacation
The host should NOT Be waiting on other customers during a wine tasting. I never had this happen before. The owner should be ashamed to put the employee in this position. EITHER close the shop to host wine tastings OR don't do it. VIATOR should warn their customers what to expect. I was SO embarrassed that I took my friends here!
it's a wine shop =vineria as cleary written evrywhere. and on airbnb this experience won and has been elected the best wine experience in verona due to the fact this is still a family- run business where you meet the owner in person! bruno who is an amazing host. and we are very sorry to hear that. but we appreciated your comment and we will consider it. wishing u a great summer
Clients deserve better for a $40 PP wine tasting, The host should NOT Be waiting on other customers during a wine tasting. I never had this happen before. The owner should be ashamed to put the employee in this position. EITHER close the shop to host wine tastings OR don't do it. VIATOR should warn their customers what to expect. I was SO embarrassed that I took my friends here!
This is the first bad review we had about this experience! That on AIRBNB ( we sell it there , too) has been elected the Best wine experience in Verna! With 350 reviews all 5 stars! We don’t remember you as our clients! So this is not a fair feedback. Best regards
Gracious, incredible host (I believe her name was Elaina). We risked showing up over an hour after our reservation… and we risked bringing our 1 year old! We really, really lucked out. Not only was our wine tasting host gracious to let us do our late, she was very, very sweet about our 1 year old’s occasional outbursts. For what it’s worth, I wouldn’t recommend bringing a 1-yr old to a wine tasting, but it worked out for us. I had him in a carrier so he couldn’t wander around smashing bottles. We bought a couple of bottles before we left. It was a short and sweet tour, with some cheese, meats and crackers. 5/5 experience.
