This is a sample itinerary, all schedules are subject to change. The Underground Brooklyn Brew Tours kicks off at Wild East Brewing Company, a brewery that specializes in farmhouse ales, hazy IPAs, and barrel-aged sours.
Down in Sunset Park a group of like-minded individuals converges every day from each of the five boroughs. Led by Blake Tomnitz and Kevin O’Donnell, the team is here to make great beer and to get that beer into your hands (and mouths). With four core beers being brewed year-round – IPA, Pilsner, Gose, Hoppy Lager – Five Boroughs focuses on quality above all else. When you join City Brew Tours at Five Boroughs you’ll get backstage access to see not one but three different brewhouses from their production scale down to their 1 BBL pilot. You’ll also get a glimpse into their state-of-the-art quality lab and spend the rest of your time in their sprawling taproom which can seat 150 people, has multiple draft lines, special events and a stage, and a retail shop.
BIG aLICe is dedicated to sourcing organic and local ingredients and supporting state and local agriculture as a licensed New York State farm brewery. They partner with New York hop farmers and maltsters and collaborate with other nearby businesses for specialty ingredients.

- Pre-gaming is strictly prohibited. Anyone visibly intoxicated before the tour will not be allowed to attend and a refund will not be provided.
- For US citizens, please bring a non-expired state ID. If you are not from the US, please bring your passport.
- Open-toed shoes are not allowed due to safety concerns, especially in brewery settings. You must wear closed toe shoes.
- Minimum age is 21, no exceptions.
- Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements or in the event of inclement weather. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately.
- Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required.

Jonathan was GREAT! So knowledgeable about beers and a Cicerone (trained and certified)! He was passionate and I felt comfortable and safe in our smaller group tour. I thought I would have wanted to visit more than 3 breweries but honestly, the timing and volumes of beers was spot on!
AMAZING experience. Emma was our guide. She did a phenomenal job! Went on a tour for my bachelor party and was not disappointed. She was very knowledgeable and informative, as well as open to answering all our questions related to beer. We loved the brewery selections and the beer tastings. Would highly recommend. This experience was canceled two days before. We were unable to rebook or find an alternative with such short notice. Shame because we were really looking forward to the tour.

City Brew Tours was brilliant. We were brought to breweries we would never have found on our own and got to taste a wide range of great beers. Our guide Daniel was extremely knowledgeable, explaining processes and history in an accessible way. He chose beers based on the preferences of the group.

We waited two hours for the tour guide, but nobody came. The tour was cancelled without any feedback to us. Absolutely no recommendation. Very unprofessional, never again.
