Escape the buzz of the city and step into a world of rolling vineyards, historic estates and world class wine. On this daily half day wine tour. you'll be treated to scenic drives through the picturesque Cape Winelands. Whether you're a seasoned wine lover, or just curious to explore South African Wine heritage, this is the perfect way to taste the Cape in just a few hours. Tours run daily, in the morning from 8am and drop off at 1pm, and the afternoon from 2pm to 7pm.

Suider Paarl (Southern Paarl) is a tranquil suburb of the larger Paarl region in the Cape Winelands Region. Nestled at the foot of the majestic Paarl Mountain, Suider Paarl offers a peacefull countryside atmosphere
After you have been picked up from your accommodation, we will drive North East out of Cape Town. Passing some of the most notorious townships in South Africa, we will discuss about the daily lives of the local people. These townships are also the birth place of our local artist. Then we will go to the town of Stellenbosch. Known to be the second oldest town in the country, with its oak trees on the side of the road. One of the streets, Church street, has some of the oldest Architecture in the Southern Hemisphere. Walking down these streets gives one a nostalgia feeling of what it was like walking around here in the early days. Then it will be Wine O Clock. First wine tasting will be at Marianne, where they pair the red wine with dried meat, It is Jerkey, but the South African term is 'Biltong'. Lastly, we will go to Fairview, where they pair the wine with cheese.

The town has well preserved Cape Dutch architecture, characterized by white washed buildings with thatched roofs, ornate garbles, and distinctive architectural features. The town is also a vibrant cultural hub, with a thriving arts scene, numerous galleries, museums and cultural events. The streets are lined with oak trees, offering a glimpse into the colonial past. One street in the town, Church Street, has some of the Oldest Architecture in the Southern Hemisphere.

Wow what a day Leticia started with supers communication before the trip & things only got better once we met. Her joyful personality & knowledge were just fantastic. The vineyards we visited were just superb too. I cannot recommend this tour enough, so please don’t hesitate just book & have the best time.

I had a great experience. We tried a lot of different wines in two places, and I especially liked the cheese. My guide Cotlin was friendly and knowledgeable. I had a blast with her!

This experience was 5/5 for me. My accommodation was in central Cape Town, and Raheem picked me up and took me all the way out to Stellenbosch. Our drive over was both fun with personal conversation, but also deep in history about townships or anything that we passed. Our first wine stop had six wine tastings— 3 white and 3 red— paired with amazing cheese. Our second, we got to watch the sunset while we tasted five wines paired with biltong. Raheem knew exactly what he was doing and was so knowledgeable about everything in Cape Town. Do recommend as a fun afternoon or morning trip.

We did a 2 week tour to S Africa, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Zimbabwe . This tour was rated a 5 star because of the guide/driver . Check out my reviews of the other tours . The driver/guide was very punctual, prompt, safe, a wealth of information, humorous and a great model to S Africans . Leticia was her name. We greatly enjoyed our tour and her company as she ensured that we enjoyed ourselves , was a safe driver and made us feel good (though we were probably high) from the vineyard tours . This was a classic example of a great small group tour that I will highly recommend .

We had a wonderful drive to the vineyards. We tasted so many delicious South African wines. They have special grapes and processing techniques that make their wines unique. Each Sommelier provided enlightening details about each tasting. Our guide did a fabulous job giving information about the area outside of Cape Town too. Highly recommend!!
