Great one-day tour through the best of Cape Town's surroundings

An excellent tour that hits major highlights near Cape Town with just the right pacing. Table Mountain and the hike up the Cape Of Good Hope were particular highlights, as was the African Penguin Sanctuary. Candy was an excellent guide who went over much of the history, ecology, and present-day life of the region honestly and without gloss. Micah was also a fine driver. Would recommend to anyone visiting the region, and especially hikers.

A wonderful day trip in Cape Town

This is the best day trip we have had so far! We have traced to many countries and attended many day trips. Nothing can compare with this. Normally you can get one impressive point if you are lucky. We got three for this trip. Our guide Candy is also great. She explained all the things we need yo know and keep the trip fun for the whole day.

A great full day tour!

We had a great day with Candy as our tour guide and Litha as our driver! Candy was so knowledgeable and kept us entertained all day. No need to take selfies because she was always ready to take pictures. I would highly recommend her!! The tour was a full day and covered everything you could want to see in one day in Cape Town! Table Mountain was unbelievably windy though so be sure to have a jacket! The penguins at Boulder Beach were adorable! And seeing the baboons just walking along the road was wild! A perfect overview experience.

Quality Cape Town Area Tours

We had a nice full day experience with our guide Jean on this tour. We felt like we hit all of the major highlights and had ample time to explore each. Our guide was knowledgeable and provided us with an excellent overview of the area. We booked a subsequent trip with Cape Archives after this experience to the winelands later in our trip. This too, was a nice day. We had kids along with us and the guide did his best to make it fun for them as well given their inability to participate in the wine-related activities. Our only comment was that we wished we had more time to spend in the towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.

Operator response

Dear Valued Customer, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed both your Cape Peninsula tour and your subsequent Winelands tour with us. It is wonderful to know that Jean's knowledge and guidance helped provide an excellent introduction to the region, and that you felt you had enough time to experience the major highlights along the way. We are especially pleased that you chose to join us again for a second tour after your first experience. It is always a great compliment when guests trust us with more of their time during their visit. Thank you as well for your feedback regarding Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. These charming towns have so much to offer, and we certainly understand wishing for more time to explore them. We continuously review guest feedback as we look for ways to enhance our tour experiences. We are also glad to hear that Jean made an effort to keep the day enjoyable for the children, ensuring that everyone in your group could have a memorable experience. Thank you again for your kind words and valuable feedback. We hope to welcome you and your family back to Cape Town for more adventures in the future. Warm regards, Junior.

Wonderful First Full Day in Cape Town

My daughter and I had a fabulous day with Candy and Litha. We arrived yesterday as first timers to South Africa, and today got such a great overview of Cape Town with Candy as our tour guide. We admired all the beautiful coastal views, learned alot about the history of South Africa, and enjoyed our visit with the penguins. Candy explained everything very well and was on hand to help take pictures. It was a day well spent.

Wonderful Tour from Start to Finish!

We had an incredible tour today, and I highly recommend it! Our guide, Candy, was exceptional. She is incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much fascinating history, information about the locals, and insights into the local wildlife. The timetable of the day was amazing as well. Everything flowed seamlessly and was perfectly paced. For me, the absolute highlights of the tour were the Cape Point hike, and visiting Boulders Beach, where we saw the jackass penguins up close. A huge thank you to our driver, Litha, for navigating the roads the whole day and for the complimentary African massage. Great fun! I will absolutely be sharing this experience with all my family and friends.
