Le Jardin Secret is a peaceful historical garden hidden in the heart of the Medina. Built during the Saadian dynasty, it was once a royal riad and has been beautifully restored. Today, it features two gardens—an Islamic garden and an exotic garden—filled with lush plants, fountains, and traditional Moroccan architecture, offering a quiet escape from the busy souks.
The Bahia Palace, meaning brilliance in Arabic, is perhaps one of the best-preserved historical sites and certainly most interesting in Marrakech. Built between 1866 and 1867 by Si Moussa, this sprawling palace is set over two acres in the middle of the Marrakech medina and features 150 rooms, including a harem section located just off the sun-filled Court of Honour. Having housed the Resident General during the French Protectorate era, today the Bahia Palace is a must-see historical museum open to the public daily and has previously hosted events such as the Marrakech Biennale.
The souks of Marrakech (covered markets) form the teeming and confounding subconscious of the city, an extensive network of streets frequently permeated with sunshine. There is a specific specialty for every Marrakech souk, including rugs, leather goods, spices, metalworking or clothes. The first price that the dealer listed is generally a great multitude of what they expect. Haggling is necessary. French is easy but money talks and traders know that English always speaks.
Jemaa el-Fnaa (Arabic: ساحة جامع الفناء Sāḥat Jāmiʾ al-Fanāʾ, also Jemaa el-Fna, Djema el-Fna or Djemaa el-Fnaa) is a square and market place in Marrakesh's medina quarter (old city). It remains the main square of Marrakesh, used by locals and tourists.
The Ben Youssef Madrasa is an Islamic madrasa in Marrakesh, Morocco. The madrasa is named after the adjacent Ben Youssef Mosque, and was commissioned in 1564–65 CE by the Saadian sultan Abdallah al-Ghalib
Dar El Bacha, or the "Palace of the Pasha," is a magnificent historical site in Marrakech, built in 1910 as the residence of Thami El Glaoui, the powerful Pasha of Marrakech. Known for its stunning Moroccan architecture, including intricate tilework and carved cedarwood, the palace served as a political hub and a venue for lavish receptions. After restoration, it now houses the Museum of Confluences, which showcases Morocco's diverse cultural heritage through traditional and contemporary art. A visit to Dar El Bacha offers a glimpse into Morocco's rich history and architectural splendor.

This was a really lovely and novel way to navigate the souks and sights particularly in high August heat; it was great for my 3 teenagers who weeeent keen to explore but the Tuk Tuk meant they didn’t have to walk! Booking was easy and we had good communication with the tour operator the night before with a clear pick up and drop off point identified by a photo that all the locals are familiar with! We were kindly given 2 tuk tuks for the 5 of us (2 adults, 19,18 and 14) which we were very grateful for because we would have really struggled squeezed into one. The tour was great; our drivers were fab navigating round the tight streets and crazy traffic of all types! We whizzed through the medina’s and also had a longer stop in one so we could have plenty of shopping time which is what we really wanted to do and it was nice knowing we had our driver close by. We visited the secret garden and then just stopped and viewed the other sights from outside as we weren’t bothered by entering and time would have been tight as we chose to potter the souks. The lovely sweets and water were very welcomed by us too. The drivers were really lovely and happy to be flexible to our tour. Would highly recommend as an alternative tour. We were sent guides to listen to the day before as this is clearly offered as a driver tuk tuk tour rather than a guided tour. But again due to the high intense heat this was perfect for our group. I had considered a walking tour instead with a tour guide but we would definitely have found this tough in August. If you would love to be toured round the sights with an audio guide and can flexibility and are happy to do background research then this is a good option!
Communication was good before the trip and the driver arrived early. We visited lots of sights and were given time to explore Bahia palace, souks and gardens. The treats and water were a nice touch as well as the gifts at the end of the trip! This is a unique experience and a good way to see the sights of Marakech! Would recommend!
Our driver was early and communicated well the day before. We got to see lots of sights of Marrakech and we had lots of time to explore Bahia palace, gardens by the mosque and souks. The desserts, water and gifts were a nice touch to take back with us. I would recommend this as an interesting way to see Marrakech for first time visitors.
It was quite calm. The driver is very attentive. Drive slowly. And I even got some delicious candy .
Nice experience Some pretty little gifts and a delicious pastry stop Walking through many small, typical streets of the city was a pleasure 1 hour in a tuk-tuk is the max for your backside 😉, if it's longer you need sightseeing stops 🤗

Amazing experience and what a way to see Marrakesh. Can’t believe how small some of streets were we went down. Explored the souks and took us to all the major landmarks. Also looked after us with water and waiting for us.

Fantastic! Communication was great! Just send a Google Maps pin or location to driver and he will meet you as close as possible to your AirBnB. What’s App worked seemlessly and he texted me a photo of his tuk tuk.

Fabulous experience! The pick up was punctual, super communication from the driver. My friend had walking issues so we booked this for a tour around the Medina. Honestly, it was the perfect way! How our driver managed to get through all the narrow alleys is beyond me. She was the best driver!! Lovely cookies from a local bakery was included. Great value for money. I would do it again for the fun!!! Highly recommended!!!!

Driver turned up on time. Lovely guy and as we went around we asked could he show us a tannery. So he took us to one. Be aware they stink! But interesting how they work. He was knowledgeable and stopped at various point which had info for us to read. Plus different sites we could visit, ie gardens palaces etc We had been round the souks or we thought we had. WOW we hadnt realised the warren of alleys selling goods. At the end of the tour he gave us gifts which wasnt expected which was a lovely gesture. Highly recommend it. We booked the 2hr duration.
