This Crime history walking tour was equal parts entertaining and informative. Frank was the perfect guide with his storytelling gift, love of history, and NYPD background. He's even a terrific waiter (but didn't tell him we said that)! We were engaged the whole time, and despite a day with the heat index at 105°, he kept us in the shade and completely distracted from the temps. The spaghetti lunch at John's and cannoli at Caffe Roma at the end were perfect. We highly recommend this tour.
AJ was awesome, Very knowledgeable about everything in the park. Answered all our questions. Told us about the history of the park. Would recommend AJ as our tour driver any day of the week. 5 Star. When we come back I would hope to get him again.
Great tour guide. Lots of information.
From beginning to end, this tour was absolutely intriguing. Our guide, Frank, was incredibly insightful and knowledgeable about Mafia history — from its earliest roots all the way to the present day. I lived in New York City for years, including on Mott Street in what has now been Chinatown (once the heart of Little Italy), and I had no idea what I was surrounded by until taking this tour. Even though I haven’t lived in NYC for a while, this experience immediately caught my interest when I saw it recommended. We’ve done all the typical skyscrapers and major attractions, but this was something entirely different. The tour gave us a completely new perspective on the Lower East Side and Little Italy. It was engaging, eye‑opening, and so much fun. I highly recommend it — Frank makes the whole experience unforgettable!
It was exceptional. Our tour guide Frank, was amazing. He made sure everybody could hear and answered everybody’s questions. He told an interesting story.I highly recommend this!
The entire event was excellent. Our tour guide was very prepared and presented the historical information in a clear audible voice.
Frank was a great guide for this tour! We absolutely loved this tour!!! Lots of inside information. He did a great job of answering everyone's questions. The pasta, sauce, and cannoli was wonderful!!!
This was a great tour! Mike was engaging and knowledgeable! He told us how the Mob got its start and highlighted key sights around the East Village and Little Italy. We’ve been to nyc dozens of times but learned a ton on the tour. If you like learning about the mob and nyc history this is the tour for you!
Wow! What a fun and exciting tour! It was educational as well as entertaining. Our guide Frank was quite informative and explained the history of the development of the “Mob” in NYC as well as in America, all while stopping at some of the most dramatic gun fights and assignation location in the history of the Mob. Great tour highly recommend it!!
We really enjoyed the tour! Our guide, Louis, was very informative, authentic and entertaining. We were also impressed by how kind and thoughtful he was in wanting us to have a good experience not just on the tour but afterwards as well. We loved the meal before we started the tour. It was a good time to get to know Louis and his background. Then ending the tour with a cannoli was the perfect touch! We highly recommend this tour! (The only thing I would have done differently (and recommend) is I would have watched more documentaries about the mafia in NYC before we went on the tour!)
