Firstly, this Traditional English Food Tour starts with your fun local guide giving an interesting brief about the history of London so we can truly appreciate & understand how some of the food you would taste through the tour actually came about. After this, the guide takes you across an interesting mix of food tastings, drinks tastings, visits to some interesting points of interest & much more. Our guides are well-trained to move in a way that gives our customers the best chance to soak up the atmosphere of over 100 different stalls within the market & click memorable pictures too. This was such an amazing tour! Sam was our tour guide and he couldn't have been more wonderful. He was very kind and he knew everything there was to know about English food and its history. The portion sizes for this food were also great and you really do get the chance to taste everything with more than generous serving sizes so please do bring your appetite. Sam was very easy to find at his meeting spot and he took us through Borough Market, which was amazing, along with ending the tour at a restaurant where we had tea and scones and we were able to sit down and relax and talk. I highly recommend this tour if you like trying different types of food and having a variety of items. This tour really does make you look at the food in London in a different way because it's incredibly diverse. While there is some walking it's not unbearable at all and it's nice to end the tour inside a restaurant where you can sit down and relax for a bit. Great tour and absolutely worth the price because you are going to eat a lot of different food but not feel overwhelmed and not like you can't finish the samples. Also, please note that although this tour starts in Borough Market which can be very busy, you won't have to wait in any long lines that you may see online on social media for example. Sam booked all of our stuff ahead of time and our food was ready at each stop so that was also great.
Sharon knew the vendors, always put us in a comfortable place to wait u til she brought food. Lots of history and info. Finished with the full British tea!

Excellent tour! The group was small and it was easy to stay together in the busy market. The portions were more than expected. We stopped at a variety of vendors. Our tour guide Kay was very knowledgeable! Would recommend this tour to others.

If someone said they could only do one tour, THIS IS IT. Sam was so knowledgeable. Tied all the food in with the history. So much food, full portions. The tour was great, worth the money. Just do it you will be happy you did.

This food tour was amazing! The variety of foods and drinks to try were great. Sam was a fantastic guide and provided some great history, facts, food knowledge, and was super friendly. Loved the bacon bap, the moo and blue pie, the cheese tasting, and the drink at The George. Highly recommended!
