Description

The ancient stones reverberate with dark secrets, priceless jewels glint in fortified vaults, and ravens strut the grounds. The Tower of London was founded in 1066–1067 by William the Conqueror. You cannot miss the iconic White Tower towering over the modern city. Venture inside, and you will find the world’s longest-running visitor attraction, The Line of Kings. A line of wooden horses is the surviving remnant of one of the oldest collections at the Tower. You will also be able to marvel at the battle armor of England’s most notorious king, Henry VIII. Opposite the White Tower lies the world-famous collection of finery and regalia, the Crown Jewels. You will be able to see some of the most legendary and spectacular diamonds in the world and regalia still used regularly by the King in important national ceremonies such as the state opening of parliament.

Prepaid tickets from Tripadvisor were refused. How to get a refund?

Unable to use the prepaid reservation for 2 adult tickets. Refusal at the ticket counter of the London Tower. I had to purchase 2 additional tickets. How can I get a refund?

History with glitter

After several trips to London it was finally time for this attraction. We were there at 10 a Wednesday morning, very much school classes but everything worked very well. Clearly an experience I appreciated! Not so adapted if someone in the company has difficulty with stairs.

Heatwave adjustments

I would have rated this a 5 but the beefeater tour was cancelled due to the heatwave. We explored on our own and were able to find everything.

Avoid at all costs

Don’t bother. The vouchers didn’t work. No one was there to meet up with. Total scam. The pdf didn’t have barcode. I ended up having to purchase tickets at the ticket counter.

Once we got new tickets everything was fine.

I got to the gate and the assistant tried for 15 minutes to use the electronic ticket without success. So we ended up buying new tickets on the spot and they were 50 Percent more expensive than the TripAdvisor ones.

Must see

Fabulous visit. Got very lucky with a bright sunny London day. Go first thing in the morning and see the crown jewels first. Gets very crowded as the day progresses. Enjoy the history of the location and the juxtaposition with gleaming modern buildings in the background.
