Incredible tour! We visited the Tower of London during the day to see inside the towers and then came at night on this tour and it was a completely different experience! Barry, our Beefeater was knowledgeable and truly loved his job. You could tell he enjoyed sharing all his insider information and historical knowledge of the tower. Definitely worth it!!
Lots of people in our group. Did not expect that. It was good but we couldn’t see all of the ceremony.
The Tower of London key ceremony is a very special event that has occurred for over 700 years. Our Yeoman Warden Tracey is one of the very few women to become a Beefeater and guard the many so we vial tower features. VIP treatment during the key ceremony is very much appreciated! Certainly one of the highlights of our stay in London! Don’t miss it 👍
The tour operator said there would me a maximum of 20 guests but our tour had 36 almost double that stated. The yeomen was terrific though. Very informative, lots of history, tour pace was perfect.
Great experience!! Good knowledge of the Tower but seeing the Key Ceremony was very special. The History is amazing!
Witness the 700 year old Ceremony of the Keys at the Tower of London in a small group tour, long after the hordes of tourists have left. Get the chance to see the historic sight with empty streets and peace and quiet. Our guide for the evening, Yeoman Warder 'Buster' Briggs kept us enthralled with some of the history and legends of The Tower, then explained the Ceremony of the Keys, and what was happening through out, with a great sense of humour thrown in. Spectacular evening doesn't begin to do it justice !
Unique experience . Take a jacket, it can be cold and windy. Be sure you have transportation at the end of the tour, there were no taxis around the tower at that time.
The small group tour with the Yeoman Warder was excellent (shout out to Emily!) and I'm glad I did it, but I have to admit I'm not sure why it was so expensive. If you're a history lover and like to stay out of huge crowds, I say go for it.
Yeoman Warder Wayne was outstanding!!! Knowledgeable, funny, charming, and kind. Great experience! Bring a jacket and gloves if visiting in any season but summer.
This was an amazing experience; highly recommend! The Beefeater was fantastic and the key ceremony was something not to miss
