Great day out, the drinks offer was great value for money (when the machines were working) Que times were relatively low, and they provided water and sun cream for the heat. The only negative experience we had, whilst queuing for the Storm Surge, the ride was going round and people were riding, but the que just did not move. It became clear that for 35 minutes of a 45 minute que they were simply letting on fast pass riders. We stood for 35 minute in the same spot with about 50 people in front of us. Then within 10 minutes we were on the ride. Just seemed very unfair to those who were not paying the extra for fast passes.
Year 12 students recently enjoyed an exciting day out at Thorpe Park, making the most of the park's world-famous rides and attractions. From the adrenaline rush of the rollercoasters, getting soaked on the water rides, to spending time with friends, the trip was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the end of a busy term and create lasting memories. The booking and entry process was seamless, from being met at our coaches, to being taken through security and into the park. The park staff were very professional and were so helpful, with our queries. We will definitely be returning next year!
Great day ! Only bad part was leaving the car park , should definitely be instructed and fairly evened out to leave.
First trip to Thorpe ever . We really enjoyed our 3 days at the park . Ride availability was good , ok queue times were big , possibly down to kids school trips but not crazy . Only thing I would change is allowing visitors to go and queue at the rides before opening , rather than at internal gates . That would hopefully stop the crazy kids sprinting etc . Alton towers do it that way , so Maybe Thorpe could too, but overall a great trip
Had a fantastic day the queue to get in was a bit long because of bag checks they should open up a queue for people without bags would be so much quicker once inside the waiting time wasn’t to bad but the rollercoaster were amazing also there is so much to do and look at in the park had a fantastic day definitely come back 👍🏻
If you want to spend all day in queues and only get to go on three rides this is the place to go. They over sale tickets and fast passes. We have been going for the last three years and each year the queue times have been getting worse. Not going next year
Currently here now been queuing for hyperia for 2 and a half hours due to ride closure, asked customer service for a few fast passes due to the loss time over closures to be fobbed off and told its against there policy won't be coming again I travelled 4 hours and not even been on 1 ride yet
41, 9 & 11 - Sunday Late June We visited 10 months after our last visit and got free entry due to the adverse weather on day 2 of our stay last year so very pleased with that. Sadly a lot of the thrill rides which were closed 10 months ago were still closed which was disappointing because we put them in to our planner on the app. Samurai, Vortex, Zodiac still closed. The queue times weren't horrendous and we got a couple of walk ons at the start of the day. I did shell out for the Hyperia queue jump though because the sun was out and that queue is pretty exposed. It was the longest queue time of the day but it's the big attraction so to be expected. They should make the ride photos easily accessible from your phone as a one off purchase. Scan the QR code, enter the photo number, pay on your phone, get the image to your phone. I don't want all of them as a package or a fancy cardboard sleeve or to download the app and log in to get the photo it's cumbersome and I'm an impulse buyer. The park free wifi is solid helps with the queue times if you've got tablets. You can take your own food and drink so if you don't want to pay too much you can have a picnic instead. Still got Churros and Bubble Teas. You will get fully saturated on Tidal Wave be aware. Nemesis, Stealth, Colossus, Hyperia, Swarm - all excellent coasters :)
Overall a great day, Enjoyed the majority of the thrill rides. Unfortunately, didnt get to ride Stealth again. Tried twice today and both times whilst queuing and waiting the ride broke down, after waiting over 30 minutes each time. Very warm day and very busy too.
I took my son to thorpe park back in October, I hadn't been since I was about his age (14/15) and it was his first ever trip to a big theme park. We had a great day. He went again with his friends on Sunday and had a lot of fun. It was very busy, but managed to get on 5 big rides. Lots to see and do and a lot of gift shops. The only thing is, the prices of everything, SO expensive. So best to bring a pack lunch.
Hi there, thank you for taking the time to leave us a 4* review, we really appreciate it. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your visit with us in October, and that you got to experience some of our amazing rides and attractions. We hope to welcome you back again soon for another great day at Thorpe Park. - Lauryn
