Thermopylae, Meteora and Delphi Private Full Day Tour

Great overall experience, highly recommend this day trip to Meteora and Delphi. Paddy was our guide and he has a wealth of historical knowledge related to these sites that he was able to share throughout the day.

We did the Thermopylae, Meteora and Delphi Private Full Day Tour with our guide Ozzy and had an absolutely wonderful time! Ozzy is such an amazing source of knowledge, and explains things so well that we were all (12yr old to 49 yr old) mesmerised for the whole day. We started early, and my plan was to have a nap in the car in the morning, but as soon as Ozzy started talking I was hooked and wide awake. He managed to avoid some rain clouds by rearranging the order of the sites so that by the time we got to them we had clear blue skies and plenty of time to walk around them. We as a family of 4 had one of the best experiences on our holiday by having Ozzy take us around, and we cannot recommend it more! So many amazing memories, and we learned so much too! Thank you Ozzy for making our day!

Probably one of the most memorable days we have had on our Euro holiday. Our wonderful driver, Marselo, was a total professional who shared so much fascinating history and local knowledge (along with a good dose of his own personal anecdotes and charm) to make this extraordinary trip incredible. The scenery was beyond stunning, the time allocated at the main stops, plus several quick photo stops along the way, was just right to keep this round trip running on schedule without ever feeling pressured or rushed. They also catered beautifully for us as vegans, finishing the day with one of the most delicious and generous meals we’ve had in Greece. The dolmades, gemista, fries, bread, and salad were exceptional, and paired perfectly with some local white wine - most of which we smashed before we even thought to take photos! 😋 The Mercedes was super comfortable, quiet (and fast!). We had the best day and would highly recommend this trip to anyone keen on seeing a lot more than just the Acropolis while in Athens. 11/10.

You’ve always wanted to go to Greece, and it has taken you decades to get here, so you don’t want to miss more than you must. You’ve been reading the guidebooks and watching Rick Steeves videos on YouTube for months. A day trip to Delphi, the religious center of Ancient Greece? Yes, please! A day trip to Meteora to see unbelievable geological formations that PEOPLE LIVE ON, yes, again! Fitting all into a 3-day stay in Athens? Err… If only you had a relative, a nephew or the like, who would take the day off and drive you there himself, filling you in on the history and culture of the place as only a native could, stopping for coffee just when you need it, dropping you off and picking you up right at the entrances like, let’s face it, your age prefers to the hike up the highway from where you would have had to park. YOU DO! Marselo was our guide for a private 14-hour day. He was an excellent driver, a comfortable companion, and an intelligent and informative guide. We toured in 92-degreee (F) July heat, and the sights were still awe-inspiring. Delphi and Meteora are not to be missed, and now I’m going to have to rewatch the movie 300, after our stop at Thermopylae. The day ended with a charming traditional dinner at a quiet local Athens neighborhood with more cats than tourists – the kind of place your nephew would take you. Tours like this are inevitably long on travel time, but Marselo made it as painless as possible, even encouraging a nap on the way back to town. Money well spent for us.

We booked this tour last minute, and we're so glad we did! Constantine was an excellent driver and a wonderful guide. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about the history of the Peloponnese, and his enthusiasm made each stop more engaging. Rather than simply pointing out the sites, he provided historical context that helped us better understand what we were seeing and how each location fit into the region's history. The pace of the day was just right. We never felt rushed. Having a private tour gave us the flexibility to enjoy each stop at our own pace, and Constantine made the entire day easy and enjoyable. We would happily recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the Peloponnese in a more personal and relaxed way.

What an incredible experience! My family and I had an unforgettable day on this super convenient private tour to see both Delphi and Meteora. Everything was perfect- from our smooth pick up, safe and comfortable ride and just the perfect amount of time at each location. Our driver and guide Marselo was wonderful! He was a great driver, incredibly knowledgeable about every where we went, friendly and accommodating. He had great recommendations for breaks and stopped at the most incredible scenic views along the way. We had a great time learning about Greek history, culture and the landscapes we passed on this unforgettable trip. This tour is a must and Marselo is a gem!!

He recommended a fantastic breakfast spot to start our day, which was a great touch. Our trip to Delphi, Thermopylae, and Meteora was seamless. He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much fascinating history about each location, making the journey just as enjoyable as the destinations themselves. He gave us plenty of time to explore each site without ever making us feel rushed, and after every stop he greeted us with ice-cold bottled water and snacks, which were especially appreciated in the summer heat. His professionalism, kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care for his guests made this one of the highlights of our trip. Kostis was our guide and he was the best! Picked us up from our hotel and drove us to delphi, Thermopylae, and meteora. We were given great history on all the sites and guidance on where to go/what to do and had lots of photo opportunities. We were provided with snacks and waters throughout and were able to take breaks whenever we wanted. We had a great day we will never forget!

I had an amazing time. Kosdis was such a sweet man with wonderful stories. He needs a raise, he was entertaining good at driving and took our photos for us. He provided water and snacks after places that were hot it was perfect.
