A fun, wry, and informative tour, as well as a nice way to contemplate the Upper East Side. It's engaging enough to not even need the tour aspect, but then you'd miss all the architecture. I'd love to do the rest of them.
Thank you for this great review! The Psychiatric History of New York is a niche Purefinder New York tour, so we're very pleased that you enjoyed it. 😁

A really sensational tour from start to finish with our tour guide Krombie. She is so engaging, and her depth of knowledge and background of historical facts is so comprehensive. Truly a historian, sharing her knowledge in the most exceptional way. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who has any interest in aspects not commonly known and wants to enjoy a super experience in New York. Excellent!
This tour was extremely unique, eclectic and fascinating. I am a native New Yorker and pride myself on knowing a lot about this town but I definitely learned new things on this tour. The guide’s presentation style was very engaging and fun. The tour and guide were extremely well organized. I can’t wait to do the other tours offered.
Very unusual, informative tour. I live in the area, and didn't know most of the historical facts about some places I walk by every day. Highly recommended!
Krombe was such a laugh and more importantly so interesting. She knows so much about the psychological history of New York. Whenever I’m back in New York I’m certainly going to book another of her tours and pick up her book from Barnes and Noble in the meantime. I really hope everyone who’s considering the tour goes on it!
