The Moroccan Cooking Workshop

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality. Our chef was not only incredibly skilled but also a wonderful teacher, guiding us step-by-step in creating an authentic Moroccan tagine. The process was so much fun, and the end result was simply delicious – full of rich flavors we’ll never forget! We also learned the art of making Moroccan tea and got to taste different varieties, each with its own unique twist. Along the way, we discovered so much about Moroccan culture, traditions, and hospitality. What made the experience even more special was how our 4-year-old daughter was treated like a little princess the entire time, she enjoyed painting and tasted moroccan sweets. It was more than just a cooking class – it was a cultural experience filled with joy, flavor, and warmth. We left with full hearts, happy memories, and the confidence to recreate Moroccan dishes at home. Highly recommended!

I recommend! Magical place, adorable companion, the chef kitchen is great, delicious meals, easy and successful recipes for me (66 years) and my grandson (9 years) the preparation of tea and its history was exciting, I recommend whatever your age! Many thanks for this wonderful time.

A really great experience. I was lucky because I was the only one to turn up, so I had all the attention. The whole team was helpful and welcoming, thanks to Chef Rashid, Amina and Khawla, unfortunately I don't have the name of the man who prepared the the tea ceremony, but that was an addition I did not expect.

Mozaik Cafe inside the mall is great. The famous Moroccan hospitality to customers is wonderful, especially from a young girl (Raja). Her professional performance in meeting customers is excellent. I recommend the coffee with ice cream (avogadu).

I was with my daughter. Mina and chef Rachida have made our experience unforgettable. The tagine was delicious and also the explanation about preparing tea was very nice. Finally, a nice dessert and a certificate. Highly recommended!

It has been for the secont time I visited Marrakesh. After visiting museums, palaces, gardens and other attractions I decided on some special event – The Moroccan cooking workshop taking place in Medina Mall Shopping Centre. The coordinators Fatima and Immam were since the beginning very kind and professional. They took us strolling along the all shopping centre which is small, but very nice with pleasant atmosphere. We visited most of the shops and had a possibility to have a chat with local sellers. Then we spent a great time learning the art of Moroccan style cooking: preparing traditional tea, cooking Tajine and Moroccan salat. Madam Rachida – the head chef of the restaurant was very welcoming, highly skillfull and kind. I was also glad to talk to Salah – waiter, very friendly guy and met people from different countries. The atmosphere there was very family and amazing. I can appreciate we cooked really a delicious food for the fact we did it for the first time. In the end we have even received a certificate of participating in the workshop and recipes we prepared. I haven´t received the pictures from the workshop yet, but hope they will come soon. I highly recommend booking this workshop, it is really memorable experience.
