My tour was canceled by the provider

My trip was canceled the day before tour. Then I received a text from trip advisor with my ticket. Then arrived at the event address but no one was there. I then called the provider only to be told my event was indeed cancelled. It was a confusing experience, but the provider was sincerely apologetic about the mishap.

Operator response

Yea unfortunately it was reported all of the news that the England match was to be held at 7pm and knowing that all the bars would be extremely busy, we felt that we certainly could not provide the quality of the tour the way we would like. So we issued refunds to everyone and explained all the issues. Only after we had done this was it then reported that the match would not be held at the 7pm time so there was a lot of confusion around the area. We felt it best to leave the tour as cancelled, with everyone getting a refund and receiving free tickets for the next tour. Our tour is voted the number 1 Jack the Ripper pub tour in london and it’s extremely good and entertaining. So we feel a one star review is unfair considering the circumstances of the World Cup and the confusion across the news about the times of the match. By giving us one star you are effectively saying the tour was terrible and people shouldn’t come on it. That’s not exactly true in the circumstances……surely?

Awesome pub tour with Insia

My wife and I really enjoyed the pub tour! We initially booked a different tour inadvertently, but I called the company and they switched us with no problems. Our tour guide was Insia, who was AWESOME! Really knowledgeable and personable. We stopped at several pubs, getting both a beer and some grisly knowledge. Just be prepared for a LOT of walking!
