Excellent time in Romania

We spent two days traveling with Adrian. We did a walking and riving tour and we very much appreciated his knowledge and enthusiasm. He is extremely punctual, thoughtful and extremely well organized. We also did a second day tour to Transylvania. Both days were memorable and made us plan to return this year to Romania to finish our exploration with him of other parts of the country. We have no comments about what to improve on the tour and we plan to book again with Adrian soon!

You won’t be disappointed

Pavel our host greeted us at our hotel, on time as arranged and we drove into the Old Town where we started our tour. He was knowledgeable and very friendly throughout, always happy to stop while we clicked our cameras at every vantage point. We were especially impressed with his enthusiasm and historical knowledge of Bucharest and Romania. We stopped for a coffee, most enjoyable and continued chatting all the time, it felt like being with a good friend. We thoroughly enjoyed our Old Town Tour

Visits in Bucharest

The visit to the city center and the Parliament were very well organized and very interesting. We were a group of eight people. Thanks to Adrian we met Mr. Radu, a very well prepared guide also from a historical point of view with many explanations and anecdotes. I will certainly contact his agency should I return to visit other areas of this pleasant country.

Adrian was a perfect guide. Very calm and comfortable to have around in our 3 day trip.

Adrian showed us around the town (and also took us to Brasov ) he gave us detailed information about the history and other details of Bucharest. He organised the parliament visit for us too.

tons of fun

We actually did this on our own and had a blast. Wandering up and done the old cobblestone streets enabled us to explore the wonderful old buildings and the charming shops at our leisure. There is a map on most of the main corners to help you navigate the possibly confusing maze. Lots of history to see and fabulous architecture. Definitely a must do when in Bucharest.

Wonderful last minute addition to trip

We had a last-minute free evening in Bucharest and our travel agent was able to get us booked with Ioan. Ioan guided us on a walking tour of Old Town and we ended our night at a lovely wine bar. This was our first full day in Bucharest and we're headed off on a river cruise in another 2 days, but this was the perfect way to start our trip. Adrian on Ioan's team was great in communicating with our travel agent and he said he would recommend working with the team at The Fixers as they were great in communicating and getting this set up so quickly. I only wish we had more time to do another tour.

Great Tour

We had Adrian as our tour guide and driver and he was excellent. He was informative, funny and friendly. He took us to Peles Castle, Premjer Fortress, Sinai Monastery and The Town of Brasov in one day. Another trip was to the Salt Mines in Prahova, luckily he suggested an early pick up as when we came back up from the mine there was such a long queue . Then went on to a lovely winery called Lacereta and had tastings and nibbles. We had to pay extra but worth it. Then on to the mud volcanoes. Another long day but worth it. Adrian was great at lunch and toilet breaks and stopped at various places for a photo pic. We traveled with another couple and we all had many laughs along the way. Would definitely recommend Adrian and The Fixers when in Bucharest and he will have plenty to suggest.

Great adventures with Adrian

We did a couple of day tours with Adrian when we were in Bucharest in June. Prior to arriving in Romania he answered all my email questions promptly so our group of four were confident of travelling with him. So glad he insisted we leave Bucharest early when visiting the Slanic Prahova Salt Mines as when we came out of the mines there was a queue as far as the eye could see. After that fabulous visit we continued on to Lacereta Winery which was beautifully done with lots of tasting and nibbles (at our expense). Lovely wine though and we bought a few bottles to keep us going for a couple of nights. The other great day was to Peles Castle, Sinaia Monastery, Premjer Fortress and Brasov Old City Centre. All terrific sites, Adrian was a great driver, guide and companion. As well as being informative we had lots of laughs and would definitely recommend The Fixers to anybody who plans a visit to Romania with limited time and wishes to see more than the lovely city of Bucharest.

Walking tour in the historic center of Bucharest

Excellent guide, speaking perfect French, great historical knowledge. He also helped us by arguing with our landlord about a hot water problem, which was quickly solved thanks to him.
