The best of Cairo in two days: Pyramids, Egyptian Museum, neighborhoods and markets

The only one of the wonders of the ancient world that still stands: The impressive Pyramids of Giza. We will also see the famous Sphinx of Giza.

We will see a key place in the history of Egypt where, among other things, is the pyramid of Pharaoh Zoser, the first of the pyramids that were built in Egypt.

It is an impressive open-air museum where we can see, among other monuments, the impressive sculpture of the Colossus of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx.

It has an impressive collection of mummies, sarcophagi and all kinds of things found in the excavations, including the famous treasure of Tutankhamen.

We will know the important Islamic tradition of Egypt through its neighborhood (and obviously, we will be happy to answer all your questions). We will go to the Ahmed Ibn Tulun Mosque (the oldest functioning Islamic monument), the Sultan Hassan Mosque and the Refa’i Mosque.

The best way to understand the life of ancient Christians in Egypt. We will see the Hanging Church (also known as the Church of Holy Virgin Mary), which is possibly the oldest Christian church in Egypt (built around the fourth century). Then we will go to the Church of San Sergio.

It is the most famous market in Cairo, an excellent place to buy Egyptian souvenirs and reproductions. It is very interesting to walk its streets and shops, with its noise, smells and colors.
