Do not book wirh this company. I prebooked the trip paying £30 eaxh. Arrived 1 .5 hours early at the departure point. Neither boat service company at westminster pier recognised the ticketsor booking refand said i had paid far toi much. I immediately coltacted viator explaining what had happened and that i thought i had been scammed. I had an incrdibly rude response stating it was down to my incompetence. I renoojed the trip with an operator 9n the original boat viator booked me on for 1/4 what they charged me. Their response ruined my day - i will pursue the return of my £60 when i get back but even one of the tour operators there said Viator are a poor company tobook through. Im not an idiot - i was a police officer- i just wanted my trip and if not my money back
Dear Customer, The reason your tickets were not recognised at the pier was because you showed viator's confirmation voucher and not the tickets that we have sent you on your email and whatsapp. On the viator's confirmation voucher it is clearly written that 'these are not your entry ticket' and the tickets needs to be exchanged, therefore it resulted for declining of the tickets.
It was a great way to see the city sites from a distance. It was very relaxing. It would also be great for groups.
The guide was excellent and his rendition of events and historical importance was excellent. Great sunny day and we enjoyed the upper deck.
Interesting and amusing (1 hour) tour of Thames to Greenwich but as funny as several reviews made it out to be. You want to sit on upper level to get best views. Boat stopped 3-4 times at beginning of tour (but if you want good, or any seat, on upper lever you should board at Westminster. Return ride commentary is same as going so you might want to consider taking underground back instead.
