The legendary “City of the Gods,” an archaeological site full of grandeur and mystery.
A striking monument decorated with sculptures of the Feathered Serpent, symbol of Mesoamerican spirituality.

The largest pyramid in Teotihuacán, offering panoramic views and a mystical atmosphere.
Located at the end of the Avenue of the Dead, it dominates the landscape and offers breathtaking views of the valley.
Near the Pyramid of the Moon, we’ll visit the Temple of Quetzalpapálotl, one of the most exquisitely decorated structures in Teotihuacán. This ceremonial complex, once reserved for elite priests or rulers, features stone columns carved with feathered butterflies—the temple’s namesake—and beautifully preserved murals with vivid pigments. As we walk through its corridors and patios, you’ll get a sense of the spiritual importance and artistic sophistication of this ancient culture. It’s a quiet yet powerful space that invites you to pause and connect with the deeper symbolism of Teotihuacán.
After finishing our journey through Teotihuacán, we’ll board our private transportation for a comfortable one-hour ride back to Mexico City. Our final stop is the Hilton Hotel, conveniently located right in front of the Alameda Central—the oldest public park in the city and a vibrant cultural hub. From here, your guide will share personal recommendations on where to eat, what to visit, and how to make the most of the rest of your day. We got to the meeting point and that was obviously beautiful to walk to and see, and it was clear to see Jesus with the pink umbrella. And surprise it’s going to be a private tour with just me, my friend and Jesus! Could he have cancelled? Maybe, but he didn’t and we LOVED EVERY MINUTE!!!!! Jesus was just so knowledgeable and made us extremely comfortable. It was as if we were friends! I recommend and if you get Jesus. You are lucky!! It’s just as the itinerary stats. We did it all and learned so much. It was Hot but because we followed their recommendation of shoes, water and sunscreen, we were ready!!
Luis was a fantastic guide, really provided a wealth of information about teotihuacan history and culture. It was extremely interesting and informative and also a very friendly atmosphere
Luis did a great job guiding us through the ruins, telling stories, and answering questions. He was genuine, friendly, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend!
Jesus was a great tour guide with lots of knowledge and passion for the tour. Guadalupe drove us there safely and effortlessly. Would recommend to a friend.
Luis was our guide through the pyramids. Luis is a trained historian and had visual aids to clearly explain the eras of history of the area, the different indigenous peoples who were involved and how they developed these anthropological sites. He was knowledgeable, able to answer all kinds of questions, and extremely informative. There is no comparison between going to this on one's own vs. having the insight and perspective of someone as informed as Luis. Highly recommend!
What a wonderful experience. David was an incredible guide; I learned so much! The tour was well paced and fulfilling.
It's great to know you had such a positive experience. David will be glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour and learned so much. Thank you for joining us!
Carolina was an excellent guide. Just be aware that there is little shade and a lot of stairs, and not just the pyramids. I found the demo of the natural dyes used on the pottery most interesting.
Thank you for your kind words! We’re happy you enjoyed the experience, especially the natural dyes demonstration, and we’ll gladly share your lovely feedback with Carmina 😊
This was an excellent experience from start to finish. The group was truly small (16 people), which made everything feel organized, relaxed, and personal rather than rushed or crowded. Our guide was fantastic. They were incredibly knowledgeable and did a great job balancing full group explanations with extra one-on-one attention, taking time to answer questions in between stops. It really felt like we saw everything Teotihuacan has to offer within the three-hour tour, without ever feeling hurried. There was a last-minute change to the meetup location due to a ceremony happening in the city, but the guides handled it smoothly. Communication via WhatsApp was clear and very helpful, and they made sure everyone understood where to go and what was happening. Despite the change, everything stayed on track. Helpful tip for future travelers: if you’re getting to the meetup spot via Uber, give yourself extra buffer time. Mexico City always has a lot going on, and an Uber that says it’s “3 minutes away” can very easily still be 3 minutes away… 15 minutes later 😄 Overall, this tour was well-organized, informative, and thoughtfully run. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mexico City who wants a thorough Teotihuacan experience without the stress of navigating it on their own.
Thank you for such a detailed and thoughtful review! We’re glad everything felt well organized despite the adjustment, and that the experience flowed smoothly throughout. Creating a seamless and enriching visit is always our priority, we truly appreciate your recommendation 😊✨
Informative, organized, and knowledgeable. You want a guide for the tour and this was the perfect pace and the right information.
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad the pacing and depth felt just right, that balance is exactly what we strive for in every experience 😊✨
Pickup was 20 minutes late. Drop off was one hour late and not near designated location. Tour was overbooked, so we had to travel in an extra uber vehicle.
Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience. We truly appreciate your feedback.
