If you select the option, we will pick you up at the entrance of your hotel in Mexico City (Only at touristic areas, subject to availability)
Upon arrival at the Volare Balloon Port, you will need to check in. Afterward, you can enjoy a delicious coffee while watching the balloons inflate. Then we will take off and fly over Teotihuacan.
The hot air balloon flight takes you over the Teotihuacan Valley, where you can see various attractions from the air. The flight lasts between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on weather conditions. Upon landing, we'll have a traditional toast and we will return to the Volare Balloon Port.
If weather allows it, you will be able to see the Archaeological site during the ballon flight.
You will see the Magical Town of San Juan Teotihuacan during the flight.
You will see the Magical Town of San Martin de las Piramides during the flight.
Once the flight is over, we'll return to the Volare balloon port where we'll give you your flight certificate. Then you'll enjoy a Mexican breakfast with Mariachi music. A true Mexican fiesta!
After the flight experience, if you select the option you can visit the Teotihuacan Archaeological Zone and enjoy this site from the ground.
Once the experience is over, we will return to Mexico City. The journey back to your hotel takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic conditions.

We will confirm pickup time and further details by message one day prior to your flight, which may be as early as 4:00 AM depending on our routes. This service is only available for hotels in touristic areas of Mexico City. Is your hotel not on the list? Contact us, and we’ll gladly provide the nearest pickup point. Please note the transportation service is shared with other travelers. In case you prefer to book the option without transportation, we will meet you at the Volare Balloon Port in Teotihuacán, State of Mexico. We will confirm your expected arrival time one day prior. For further questions, fell free to contact us by phone or message. The transportation service only applies from Mexico City Hotels located at Touristic Areas. It does not apply from particular residences or Airbnb and/or similar services. The transportation service is shared, subject to schedules and restrictions. In case you select the option without transportation and want to arrive by your own car, the appointment will be at Globopuerto Volare in Teotihuacán, State of Mexico, at the designated time. My hot-air-balloon experience in Mexico was truly magical and one of the most unforgettable moments of my trip. Watching the balloon come to life before sunrise created an incredible sense of excitement and anticipation. As we gently rose into the sky, the panoramic views below were absolutely breathtaking. Floating peacefully above Mexico’s beautiful landscape while the morning sun painted the sky in warm colours felt calm, inspiring, and almost dreamlike. The entire experience was professionally organised, and the team made safety a priority while remaining friendly, reassuring, and attentive throughout the journey. The smooth flight and peaceful atmosphere allowed me to fully enjoy every moment. This was far more than a balloon ride—it was a remarkable experience that offered freedom, serenity, and a completely new perspective from above. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mexico and looking to create a truly unforgettable memory.
There are no words to describe how wonderful and amazing this experience was. I was scared before going up, but our pilot did a great job and the trip was smooth. The view was stunning and seeing all the balloons in the air was really cool. After the ride we got to celebrate with champagne and had a full Mexican breakfast. It was definitely worth the cost for what we got out of the experience. And it’s nice that we are back home just after lunch to enjoy the rest of our day. I would do this again!

We chose only the balloon ride foregoing the pickup and drop off option and somewhat regretted it :) def recommend the full package so you don’t have to worry about transportation. However, we loved the balloon ride, everyone was so nice while registering, breakfast was decent, and the photographer made sure to include everyone in the photos and take different types of photos of each group. We ubered to and from separately so we would not be tied to their scheduled and worked out for us. We rented 2 little atvs and were able to see other sections around the pyramids that normally we would not be able to see.
