In this tour, our professional tour guide will come to your hotel to pick you up. In order to take a look over this energetic city full of motorbikes, the guide will take a taxi to go to the first stop to enjoy 2 significant food from the middle of the country. Sitting like a local and watching to the whole process of making the food, you will blend in and become locals. After the first stop, we will walk you guys to the other stops by walking. On the way, you will enjoy the fresh air of this city and experience how to cross the crazy traffic as locals. I’ve taken multiple tours during my Asia trip, but this may be the best one thanks to my guide Kevin who was absolutely amazing. He took me around various neighborhoods that I would normally never see in Saigon and he had excellent choices for local food to be sampled. I felt like I was getting an education, but also eating authentic delicious food. Kevin is very engaging ,very personable. His English is solid and he’s just a great guy and professional guide ….highly recommended.

I was solo in HCMC for a long layover and this tour was an exceptional way to get an introduction to the city! Peter met me near the food tour start and took me to some amazing spots offering delicious tastes of Vietnam! He asked about any allergies and my preferences, goals in the tour, and comfort throughout the experience. In addition to the specific food descriptions, Peter tied in the history of Vietnam to the differences in cooking styles and flavors. He talked about his experience growing up and his family's cooking style in regard to our dishes. The food was amazing: savory pancakes, fried dumplings, local vegetables, authentic pho, spicy bahn mi, amazing coffee and lychee ice creams, sugar cane and calamansi drink, everything was so delicious and well balanced. Peter was friendly and really helped me understand and appreciate the food styles as well as introduced me to the history of some of the city. Thank you again Peter for a great tour! I can't wait to come back and explore more!

Wow! A MUST do in Saigon. Without Kevin's guidance, enthusiasm, and knowledge, our Saigon experience would have been a shell of what it was with Kevin at the wheel. We absolutely loved our tour with Kevin! He was an excellent guide -very friendly, and knowledgeable! Our time in Ho Chi Mihn City was limited, so this was the perfect way to spend our evening there! We got to see areas we would likely not have seen on our own as it was very much off the beaten path for a tourist. Kevin did a great job at guiding us and explaining the different dishes, the language, and history of the city. And the food was some of the best we had in Vietnam! I highly recommend this tour - you will not be disappointed!

‘The food is authentic. The surrounding was absolutely Vietnamese. The walking distance was not too far. Kevin’s hosting is good’ said my father who was not so keen at first on going for a food tour. It was overall an excellent experience and we definitely would not have been able to get to any of those places on our own. Kevin was an amazing host. He even explained to us the different intonations of the Vietnamese language and explained the names of the food, how the food is cooked and eaten. He was very open and our whole family could connect with him and ask him questions and have excellent conversations. He brought us to see other parts of Ho Chi Minh City and gave us a lot of insight into the city and also recommendations outside of the food tour. He also expertly help us cross the road and we felt no anxiety in doing so. His english is excellent and it’s just an absolutely 5 star experience. He also took photos for us as a family and gave us a really unique experience.
