Great ferry trip and good for pictures. I don’t know if I want to go to the zoo again. Great views of harbor.

Good

Not the best when it’s raining and overcast but it would be lovely otherwise.

Day trip

Zoo is great family day out. Fantastic view points for photos of the city and good assortment of animals to watch. Removed a star for the restaurant. I had a chicken burger for $19 that was inedible. Hot food was totally overpriced and poor quality. Pack a lunch.

A lovely zoo with so much...

A lovely zoo with so much to see but make sure you look at the weather forecast and don't go when it is raining!

Worth it, even in the cold and rain.

Cold and rainy, but the animals were beautiful. Went specifically to see native Australian fauna, and loved that. The gorillas stole the show!

Would not recommend this package.

Didn’t know there is a public city run ferry that goes straight to the zoo, with more frequent schedule. We missed our 1:15 boat and the next one is 3:45. That big gap is inconvenient, so we forfeited our ferry return and pay for the city ferry. Don’t buy this package just go on your own, better and cheaper.

Don’t book it through this website

The zoo itself was great. But this website is incredibly misleading. We booked the experience from Australia on a .com.au website. The advertised cost of $186 is an ok deal in AUD. It was not made clear in any way during the purchasing stage that the charge would be in USD ($270 AUD). You can get an online family ticket directly from the zoo for $117 and public ferries for about $10 each return. The public ferries offer much more frequency than the options with this experience. There was no ferry commentary, this experience offered nothing additional . I contacted customer service before posting this review to request the difference be refunded but they but they did not wish to accommodate my request. Wherever you live in the world, save yourself the $ and book direct.
