We did the Blue Mountain Small Group inclusive tour today, August 8, 2026. What a GREAT day. Our guide Kat was amazing!! I’ve booked many tours while traveling, but I’ve never had a guide who was so knowledgeable and helpful and funny! Everything was so well organized and enjoyable. Kat did a wonderful job and I would recommend her without hesitation. The tour itinerary itself was great and included a variety of activities that we couldn’t have done on our own. We finished the day truly pleased with our choice of using Anderson Tours.
We cannot recommend highly enough this tour of the blue mountains, and our guide Joan was exceptional. His knowledge of and passion for the Blue Mountains was brilliant and our 2 kids lapped up his facts and stories! Joan’s understanding of the area and the timings of the trip meant that we were able to visit viewing points that avoided the crowds caused by the larger tour bookings and we would recommend using Anderson’s Tours for a more personalised and bespoke experience. Thanks to Joan we went away from the trip understanding more about this beautiful and unique place and making wonderful memories with our family. Thank you Joan, this trip was the highlight of our travels in Australia so far!
Great tour made really special by the wonderful tour guide Joan.
Joan is an amazing person, he explains everything with details and very interesting information, he speak English and Spanish perfectly and for a Mexican guy I really appreciate that. The only thing is that you need to mind that as the plan is to see a lot of points, most of the things are in a hurry. The food was really really good. And one more thing we visit the Sydney Zoo and we don’t like it, its small and you can’t interact more direct with the animals as we saw, but beside that everything was good, five stars to Joan Alex.
Amazing value for the cost! Our tour guide, Joan, truly made the experience exceptional. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the Blue Mountains history & wildlife, and shared so many interesting facts throughout the day. He was also very interactive, engaging, & entertaining, which made the entire tour even more enjoyable. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and cares about giving everyone a great experience. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend this tour—especially with Joan as your guide!
Highly recommend this tour for your time and value: we got to see all the highlights of the Blue Mountains, stop by the zoo, and take a ferry ride back into town. We had Joan who was lively, interactive, and informative. He made the whole experience delightful. I would highly suggest that you book this day tour if you are looking to get the most from a Blue Mountain tour.
Saw baby koalas, beautiful landscapes and rode a cable car with a glass floor. Kat (the tour guide) was great! Very informative and interesting throughout.
A great and memorable scenic trip to the blue mountains. Our guide Kat was lovely and very knowledgeable. Itinerary was perfect, started off at scenic world before the crowds came in, made a few more breathtaking stops along the way.
I had a wonderful time on the Blue Mountains tour on my first visit to Sydney. Our guide Kat was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, funny and efficient and made the experience so much better. The views, food and opportunity to pet some cute kangaroos were all fantastic.
Our guide, Jay, provided everything we needed to make our day enjoyable and educational. His knowledge base of the history and natural world is amazing and he shared it with us. He clearly loves this mountain and we also grew to admire it. Jay was efficient with time management and provided good direction for us at each stop. he was congenial and made the day truly enjoyable.
