We had a great private group tour of Taormina, Castelmora, & Messina made special by the outstanding driver/guide services provided by Fabio. He was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He is a native of the area and knows so much about the history of the cities, towns and villages. He is a teacher and his ability to communicate so well made us appreciative students. We would definitely book a tour with Fabio if we have the chance. While Taormina is one of the most beautiful towns in Sicily and Messina is one of the major cities of the island, a visit to the small traditional village of Castelmora which sits on the mountainside above Taormina was the highlight of our tour. We were lucky enough to visit on a Sunday morning which happened to be the date of First Communion for the community's children. What a wonderful experience to see them in their gowns with the proud families surrounding them.
Sergio was our guide and he was extremely knowledgeable about the area. He is an excellent educator who taught us much about the history. The scenic drive was amazing with many sites to see in Taormina.
