Your day starts with a comfortable pickup at 7:00 AM from your hotel, the airport, or any preferred location in Delhi, Noida, or Gurugram. Your driver will take you to the Delhi Nizamuddin railway station and help you find your train coach and seat, so there’s no confusion. You'll board the Gatimaan Express, India’s fastest train, which departs at 8:10 AM and gets you to Agra in just 1 hour and 40 minutes, arriving by 9:50 AM. After your day in Agra, you’ll catch the same train back—Gatimaan Express #12049, which leaves at 5:45 PM and brings you back to Delhi by 7:30 PM.
At 9:50 AM, your driver and local tour guide will be waiting for you at Agra Cantonment railway station, holding a placard with your name so they're easy to find. From there, you'll head straight to the Taj Mahal. This stunning white marble monument is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a true symbol of love. Built in 1632 by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal sits peacefully along the Yamuna River. It’s more than just a tomb — the entire 42-acre complex includes a mosque, guest house, and beautiful gardens surrounded by high red sandstone walls. Your guide will walk you through the rich history, architecture, and romantic legacy of this world-famous site.
After exploring Agra Fort, you’ll take a well-deserved break for lunch at a 5-star hotel. This isn’t just a quick bite—it’s a full dining experience. Next, you'll visit Agra Fort—one of the most important historical sites in India. Also known as Lal Qila or Fort Rouge, it’s a place where history truly comes to life.
Your next stop is the Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah, often nicknamed the "Baby Taj." This beautifully detailed Mughal mausoleum is known for its delicate carvings and inlaid marble work, earning it the nickname “jewel box.” It's a quieter, less crowded spot that offers a peaceful glimpse into Mughal art and architecture.
You’ll return to Agra Cantonment railway station by 5:30 PM to catch your train back to Delhi. The Gatimaan Express departs at 5:45 PM and gets you to Nizamuddin Railway Station in Delhi by 7:30 PM—a smooth and quick 1.5-hour journey to end your day.
Board the Gatimaan Express in Agra at 5:45 PM and arrive at Delhi’s Nizamuddin Station by 7:30 PM. Your driver will be waiting for you right outside your coach and will take you comfortably back to your hotel, the airport, or any preferred location in Delhi, Noida, or Gurugram.
