What a great way to visit the zoo and learn about all the species. The zoo keepers and experts in their field and friendly.
Knowledgeable tour guide. Excellent close ups with koalas, echidnas, and kangaroos. Feeding animals in their enclosures!
Rob was fantastic. We learned so much, including the stories of individual animals. Made it a very worthwhile and memorable experience!
Our travel agent booked this for us and it was great to get an inside look at the zoo. We were able to get up close to the koalas and the Bilbies. The guide was brilliant and enhanced our visit. I’m not a massive fan of zoos but found this zoo well organised and planned for visitors. There is a great selection and they have thought about enrichment for the animals. We did not want to take the bus to the main entrance at the top and were advised not to walk as it was ‘dangerous’. However there were lots of joggers etc using the road so it was absolutely fine.
Gorgeous property and views and great tour guide who is an animal keeper who provided us a great education and an awesome awesome experience
I definitely enjoyed hearing the backstories of the amazing Aussie animals told to the small group by the local keeper. Hearing their names, personalities, alongside the facts about their species and environment made the visit more endearing. Getting close to the koalas, long nose echidna, and potoroos was magical. The rest of the zoo went well. It’s a beautiful location full of amazing animals and dedicated staff.
Paulie was very knowledgeable and good fun! We leant stuff about the zoo and Australian animals that we didn’t know before. Made our day!
Our zookeeper guide gave us a lot of information about Australian animals. She was very friendly and knowledgeable, and gave us time to check out each animal. Go to the information desk to check in.
Georgia was amazing! Super knowledgeable and passionate about the animals which made the visit really engaging. I can’t wait to come back!
Rundown establishment. Full of old retired volunteers our private tour was 20 minutes late they didn't even have anyone to do the tour and had to sort it out and apologised
