A beautiful and informative 1/2 day tour of the city. Packed full of history and proselytising with your guide Tony, if you’re lucky - and he’s not treading the boards of The Opera House. Lots of deeply respectful historical bon mottery from First Nation history through the arrival of Captain Cook right up to the architecture of today. Thoroughly entertaining plus you keep fit at the same time.
I have learned that a bike tour is the BEST way to see a new city if you only have a few days there. We booked the 4 hour tour for our party of 9 (including 5 children ages 8-12) on the first full day we had in Sydney. This allows you to see areas of town you would like to return to and explore. There were some definite hilly parts but also plenty of flat and downhill. I have to admit that I wished I had booked one of their e-bikes for the extra $40 but ultimately was proud of myself for getting the exercise on the regular bike. Plus, on a bike tour, you make several (rest) stops where the guide gives you fun facts about the landmarks around you. We all did great and were proud of the kids especially my 10 year old daughter who has only just recently learned to ride a bike. Anyway huge shout out to PAUL who was our guide and did an excellent job letting us know what to expect, keeping us safe, and giving us our history lesson. It can't be easy to bike and do all of that talking to a big group (our group had 16 people total). Thanks Paul! Do yourself a favor and book a harbourview room at the Nearby Sebel Quay just a short walk away in The Rocks. This is very convenient to the bike tour. Your view from this hotel will have sweeping views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House that will leave you speechless. These two bookings alone will make your stay in Sydney!
An amazing experience with a great tour guide “Michael”. 15 bikes in total with children and adults and families from England, France , Germany & Holland. The tour was so informative and Michael went out of his way to show us unique & interesting things en route , always checking in with the riders if they were ok with the pace, checking numbers , pointing out all the sites and giving great recommendations for things to do for all ages . A first class experience that I would strongly recommend for anyone - especially at the start of a Sydney holiday as you will learn and see soo much . Thank you for an amazing trip . Kev & Andy 🏴
We had the best afternoon doing the Express Tour with our kids! The biking is easy, you see all the iconic Sydney spots, and your learn a lot along the way while keeping active. Don't hesitate, book this for your trip to Sydney
Great guide. Knows a lot about Sydney and history. Very good bikes
A very interesting tour to beautiful places. Jimmy is the absolute best guide!! We had a lot of fun despite the rain. Thank you very much.
We do a lot of bike tours when we travel, and this one might be one of our favorites. You’ll get a really good lay of the land, which in Sydney is fascinating because of the many neighborhoods within the city. We got really good commentary from our guide, Danny, who also did a really good job of keeping everyone safe a few times we rode on busy streets. We ended up biking 18 km, some of that is uphill, so you also get your heart rate up. We would recommend this for people who are at least moderately fit.
The Bonza bike tour video was key in convincing three people in our party to take a chance on this tour. My 15 person group included me and my sister's families (11 people ranging in age from 14 to 51) and 4 others. The depiction of the tour is accurate. The bike trail is paved entirely. While there are a few short, low-incline hills, Jay, our incredible Aussie tour guide prepped us well and there was option (without judgment) to get off the bike to walk it up for whatever part of the hill could not be managed. I loved the ability to cover so much ground in the time we were on the tour. The entire tour is beautiful and Jay is an exceptional, enthusiastic and knowledgeable storyteller/tour guide. Probably the best I've experienced of all the tours I've taken. He was easy to understand and delivered the information passionately! He is encouraging and attentive. Sydney's grounds are clean and beautiful. What a wonderful city to explore by bike. We were on such a high after our tour and the staff of the tours could not be more friendly and helpful in navigating the city. Great restaurant and local sites resources. Thank you so much!
Many years ago when I visited Munich I did Mike’s bike tour. I loved it so much every time I go on vacation to a big city and I’m looking for things to do, I also look into whether or not there are bike tours. This was the only thing I booked for us to do in Sydney in advance and I am so glad I did. Paul was an amazing guide. We didn’t sign up for a private group but because it is the winter season here, we got lucky and it was just our family of four on the bike tour. It was fantastic. The amount of ground we covered all over the city was so incredible. Places we would have never known to go to and wanted to go back on our own later. I highly recommend this tour. Our bikes came with a front sack so we were able to put a wallet, camera and water bottle while we hiked but did not need to carry our backpacks. There are refill stations along the ride so make sure to bring a water bottle.
Return customers. Nice weather nice cycling around CBD. Though due to vivid Sydney ceratin routes are closed down. But great trip to know Sydney
