Your journey begins in the early morning, where our team will pick you up from your hotel to witness a breathtaking sunrise at Angkor Wat. To ensure a truly intimate experience, we enter through the secluded back gate, allowing for a peaceful, quiet walk through the temple grounds as the first light breaks over the horizon. After exploring this world wonder, we journey to Ta Prohm—the iconic "Tomb Raider" temple—where giant tree roots slowly reclaim the ancient stone ruins. Here, you can relax and enjoy breakfast or coffee directly in front of the temple, soaking in the serene jungle atmosphere before the crowds arrive. We conclude our adventure in the ancient city of Angkor Thom, visiting the majestic South Gate, the enigmatic stone faces of Bayon, and the historic Terrace of the Elephants. To add a spiritual touch to your journey, you may have the opportunity to receive a traditional Monk Blessing at Angkor Wat or Bayon (subject to monk availability).

A wonderful experience from the pick up to the drop off. The guide was extremely knowledgable and discussed the history, religions, and cultural significance of each of the sites. The best part of the trip was when the guide surprised us with his knowledge of every photogenic location in the temples and would snap pictures of us with the quality of a professional photographer.

A wonderful trip to Angkor! We arrived through the back gate, avoiding the crowds, and basically had (the East side) of Angkor Wat for ourselves for a few minutes as we walked around the temple. Magical! Thom dod a great job telling stories, giving background, and answering questions, and he always knew where the best spots for photos are. Pickup was punctual, the van was nicely air conditioned, and Ted did a great job driving and providing us with cold drinks and cold towels to keep us cool (enough)!

Loved this experience! Having Thom as our private guide was great because you get a personalized experience and all your questions answered. Having the van was SO nice in the hot weather - it had great air conditioner, cold towels, and cold water bottles to keep us hydrated in between stops. Thom knows all the photo spots and all the history! Side note - be careful of the photographers - they will say $1 but they mean per picture - and then they will take dozens. Agree on a final price beforehand or skip entirely!

Thom was an amazing guide - knowledgeable, patient, funny, and a great photographer. He knew where to find the best coffee and cleanest bathrooms in the park as well as the best locations for photos. His extensive knowledge of the history and details of all the temples made the experience much more special and memorable and he shared a lot on how culture and history have shaped Cambodia today. I especially loved hearing all of the stories behind the intricate carvings and galleries at each of the temples, so impressive how much he knows about them. One of the best guides I have ever had!

Thom, our guide, was nothing short of perfection. He was a natural teacher, and not only gave the history of what we were looking at, but helped to fit it into the larger context. He made the tour fun and meaningful. I will never forget the experience I had today. Our hotel connected us with Travel to Inspire, and I was initially skeptical. Incredible experience exploring the main Angkor Wat temples. Thom was a perfect tour guide and I would highly recommend him to anyone! He was so insightful and knew all his facts about each individual temple. He was patient with us all the way around and answered all of our questions.
