Make sure you read all...

Make sure you read all the info before arriving for your climb. Wavers etc need to be done via email before your visit. The experience is enjoyable & interesting with historical facts. Our guide Shane was fantastic. Fun, engaging, caring (my Aunt is 72 & he spent a lot of time speaking to her & making sure she was ok) He made the whole experience even better than we expected.

Great walk across the highest roof walk in the UK.

The experience was amazing, it was a great view of London once you got to the top, you can see for miles. The admission fee was very reasonable as you have an hour from start to finish. I had the photo package as you have 3 photos printed out which you can choose, the others are all digital which you can download on to your phone at the end. You can take your own phone up to the summit but you have to purchase a pouch which costs £7.50, but you can keep it. But you don't really need it, as Shane my guide took enough photos for me. You leave all your bags in a locker. I was really lucky enough to have a tour all to myself by the lovely Shane. He is very knowledgeable and friendly and efficient. He is a credit to your team. He was very safety conscious and made sure my harness was on properly and done up tightly and explained everything to me. He spoke to me all the time all the way up and down to take my mind off the heights as I am not to good with them. He explained all about the history and how it burnt down. He took lots of photos for me. It was quite easy to walk up all the steps they weren't steep at all and we took our time. You also get 10% off in the cafe in Ally Pally or by the boating pool with you ticket.

Amazing view & great guide

What an experience! My son and I were the only ones on our tour. Our guide Beren was friendly, professional and shared lots of information about Ally Pally, Dolly and surrounding areas and sights. The safety equipment at the start was explained clearly. The climb to the rooftop wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be (dont really have the head for heights) but the view was amazing. I would recommend this rooftop walk and I would definitely do it again! Thankyou Beren!

Great views and experience

Did this today (Saturday) on a hot day. The breeze was refreshing and the views amazing. Our guide Shane was lovely - very friendly and knowledgeable too. I’m a bit scared of heights (had a meltdown once on GoApe!) but this was fine. Safety measures were great. Highly recommended

No Communication About Cancellation

Vendor apparently cancelled event but did not communicate this to us via text or email or app. When we reached out to the vendor via the Viator App, we didn’t get a response. It has been hot in the UK this week, and we have had other events get cancelled. In all cases, we were notified and our monies refunded. Viator did refund our tickets which we greatly appreciate! However, it was a lost evening while on vacation and lost transportation costs. Very disappointing.

Great location for a memorable outing

Wonderful experience walking over the roof of Ally Pally, seeing the wide reaching views, learning the history of the Palace and really enjoying ourselves, all in the capable hands and very charming company of Shane our guide who also took photos for us. The walk is not difficult, is well managed and very safe, highly recommended.

Unique and outstanding views.

This was a great experience. The views from.the top of Ally Pally are outstanding, unique to London I would say, and well worth it. Our guide, Shane, was charm personified. And, even with my slight vertigo, I enjoyed it and am really glad I did it.
