Big names in the scene like ROA, Blu, Stink Fish, and Shepard Fairey already came to Vienna to leave their mark. The local Viennese Street Art scene is growing, names as Nycos, Frau Isa, Friend, Deadbeat Hero, Skirl and others are making an even bigger mark in the city. Feel the passion while being lead on the most active street art place of Vienna. Guides are locals experts who are aware of the street art community and want to tell interesting stories about the art and its creators, and this specific lifestyle. Highlights include insider information of the Austrian urban art scene, an entertaining walk in the biggest opened street art gallery in Europe, and an opportunity to hear about the local scenes, untold stories, and history of the development of street art globally. Join us and discover the amazing world of street art.

We did the free street art walking tour in Vienna, our guide was Pedro. We had a great time, he is such a knowledgable and fun company, thank you for the tour! Althought we were just two people, we got the tour. Vienna offers some interesting street art, I was happy to see different artsist's works. If you have more time in Vienna or interested in the topic, it is worth to see. Pedro also had great recommendations, we went to the restaurant on the market on the other day. :)
The very interesting tour. Our guide Angelo was perfect, provided us with a lot of historical information in a very entertaining way, he a showman
The tour was very short and it was too dark. It should start more early in winter times. Although we had a Vienna card the code to get a discount didn’t work and we didn’t get any response on our mail about the discount. The Guide was friendly but it wasn’t a success.
Dear Walbo..., Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the tour didn't meet your expectations — the duration, lighting and the issues with the Vienna card discount are all valid points we take very seriously. We sincerely apologise that your email about the discount went unanswered. That is not the standard of service we aim to provide, and we will act on this to improve our response times. We appreciate your honesty and hope to have the chance to give you a much better experience in the future. Best regards, Conny
Kamil was very good at illustrating stories and anecdotes about Viennese street art, recommended for those who want to know a new side of the city and get closer to this type of art.
Detailes and very informative. We were late and the guide kindly waited for us. The guide was knowledgable and oriented on our expectations. Overall it was very nice and impressive experience.
The guide was good, but the route was really poor. We had just a walk by Donau canal and mainly watched so called "tagging" type of street-art.
Hi Kira, thanks for your review. We will check it with the guide and provide an even better experience. The Danube Canal is the biggest open Street Art Gallery in Vienna with numerous pieces. To cover everything is not an easy task even for our expert guides. This route is usually very vibrant, therefore it is chosen. Pieces change occasionally, and there is always something fresh. We are sorry you did not like it. Hopefully, next time when you come to Vienna we will host you on another tour so we can change your opinion and provide an even better experience. Have a great day! Tobi was an excellent guide and showed us parts of Vienna I’m sure we would have missed. We walked for 2 enjoyable hours —no one was bored. There were 6 of us - ages from 18 to 80. Tobi gave us a lot of tips for other things to do and see, as well as info about Vienna itself. (I don’t know if I spelled his name correctly) We were supposed to have another guide but he got sick and fortunately Tobi stepped in. We didn’t walk along the canal as advertised because Tobi has his own favourite art pieces that aren’t there. I really recommend seeing Street art in Vienna!
Dear Beverly, thank you for your lovely review! We are very happy to know that you are all satisfied with the tour! As you saw every local guide has a different style and a different way to communicate his or her passion for Vienna! In this way, by allowing guides to adapt the tour to their knowledge and interests, we want to achieve the best experience for you! Best regards Prime Tours Team
The area is open to the public, so a walk along the river is refreshing, bracing, colourful and free.
Like all artistic expression, street art needs its explanations. This Anna did very, very well on the tour this Saturday, 16. October. She knows her stuff and is very attuned to the movements in the street art scene. Vienna's is particularly vibrant, and Anna kept us up-to-date and filled us in on the artists along the Donau canal walkway. She has a subtle sense of humour, loves her subject and enjoys sharing her knowledge of it. We were 6, 3 of us Vienna-born and bred, and thoroughly enjoyed and learnt from the tour. Thank you, Anna, and apologies to Philipp.
We have done a Free Tour with Martín, our experience has been very good, Martín has been charming explaining the most important brushstrokes in Vienna, we liked it very much. My only suggestion is that the Tour focuses too much on a particular area, not to mention other interesting places to visit by way of advice such as Prater, Stadpark, St. Charles Borromeo Church, Schonbrunn Palace, I think it is necessary to end the tour by mentioning certain places in Vienna that are worth visiting to help the traveler.
Dear Noelia, thank you very much for your thorough and kind feedback! :) Unfortunately, we can not cover outside districts during the Free walking tour - and there is so much to explore in the inner city, that the 2.5 hrs can give you a nice overview :) Special tip from us: check out the Naschmarkt (it's a must-do) and after that the Brunnenmarkt - that's where a lot of locals go to actually shop, :) wish you all the best!
