It was a great day! Eugene was our guide and Ricardo was our driver. The bus was very nice, clean and newish. There was a bathroom on board and a USB port between the seats. We visited Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath as well as lunch at a 14th century pub. Fair warning this is a long day and each stop is fairly rushed so don’t do this tour if you expect to have hours wandering around. You won’t! It was perfect for us since we only had a few days in London but knew we wanted to see these areas. We were the 2nd tour group to arrive at Windsor which was great bc it wasn’t crazy crowded when we were in there, however, we spent a lot of time waiting in line for it to open. Then we waited in another line for the State rooms to open (10a). So we had about 40 min to view the staterooms as well as the church. Would’ve loved to walk around the town of Windsor more as it looked super cute but again, definitely no time. Next was Stonehenge which was pretty amazing as it is huge and in the middle of no where. No, you don’t get to get super close to it but it’s still awesome and lets you see the view of the entire thing. There are fun little photo ops around it. FYI, the tour takes you to the visitor center/gift shop and then you take a quick shuttle to the actual site. We had about an hour there but again, time flew by! Went to lunch after. It was a really cute little town and pub! The lunch was decent. We all had fish and chips. It was good but 75% batter. We thought all non-alcoholic drinks were included but that is not so, only water, so keep that in mind. Overall, we recommend this tour! The guide was super nice and very funny!
Nice experience! This is a very nice tour for families with younger ones. It lets me know that I now need to book a holiday to visit Windsor and Bath! Do the Roman baths museum if you have time. The baths museum had interactive audio guide just for kids.
The experience itself was incredible, got to see some beautiful European towns and countryside. Eugene was an excellent guide! Very knowledgeable and entertaining. He had lots of interesting facts about what we were seeing and the history of the areas. Also very helpful taking food/drink orders and making sure everyone makes it back to the bus. Ricardo, our driver, navigated the bus like an extension of himself; very good through the narrow town streets.
Eugene was well organized and gave a lot of information. Ricardo was a super driver. The day ran very smoothly with these two keeping us together.
As a solo female traveler I felt safe and connected with the people around me, and didn’t feel unsafe at all. This was absolutely worth the money, Eugene and Ricardo were wonderful and truly brought the tour to life 10/10 would do agin. (Highly recommend if you enjoy anything from Harry Potter to Jane Austen to history in general.)
We went to Windsor Castle, Stone Henge, Lacock, and Bath with Eugene as our guide and Ricardo as our driver. Eugene had good knowledge of every landmark we drove through, as well as recommendations and proper routing guides to make sure you had the most time available to do whatever you wanted. Ricardo was an extremely smooth driver and was very friendly. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a tour around England.
