Itinerary

60 min

Standing proudly on the slopes of the River Avon, beautiful Bath was the first city in England to be a designated UNESCO World Heritage site in its entirety. The city’s stunning honey-coloured Georgian architecture, the gorgeous 15th century Bath Abbey and the romantic Pulteney Bridge (modelled on Florence's Ponte Vecchio) are all sights you’ll want to linger on!

Pass by

The Royal Crescent is a series of 30 terraced buildings in Bath, England, built out in a sweeping crescent. It is a Grade I listed structure that was designed by architect John Wood, the Younger and erected between 1767 and 1774. It is one of the best examples of Georgian architecture in the UK. Although the numerous interiors have seen significant changes throughout the years, the Georgian stone exterior has remained largely unchanged since its construction. The 500-foot-long crescent features 114 Ionic columns on the first floor and a Palladian-style entablature above. With its views over the parkland opposite, it was the first crescent of terraced dwellings to be built and an example of "rus in urbe." Since it was created over 240 years ago, many noteworthy people have lived or stayed in the Royal Crescent, and some are honoured on unique plaques affixed to the respective buildings.

Founded in the 7th century, Bath Abbey is a former Benedictine monastery in Bath, Somerset, England. Bath Abbey is one of the most impressive examples of Perpendicular Gothic architecture in the British Isles. The mediaeval abbey church served as a bishop's cathedral at times.

Great option for the price

Great tour overall. Calvin the tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The driver Calvinder took a great scenic route. We arrived to Bath at about 3pm without having any chance to eat lunch and we immediately started the group tour of the Roman Bath house. A suggestion would be to have the tour meet at the Bath house at the end of the time in Bath to give everyone time to eat. The coach was also 15 minutes late to pick up and returned at 8:30pm. But these large group tours are never perfect.

We hope to welcome you again soon.

Informative, fun, and historic!

Amazing tour, worth every penny! Our tour guide went by “Peter Rabbit,” and offered an incredible history of England on the way to Stonehenge. Marius, our driver, was timely and considerate, helping us reach each destination promptly, but without feeling rushed! I highly recommend booking for this tour; it solidified England as a top destination for me!

Excellent tour

Kelvin was an excellent guide, funny, informative, and a great storyteller. He painted a picture in my mind of people of the past, and the work and dedication they put in to make Stonehenge happen. He helped me to feel a connection to Stonehenge that I might not have had on another tour. Our driver Adam got us quickly and safely to all of our destinations.

Absolutely brilliant Tour, amazing fun

Kalvin is such a fun Tour Guide, full of knowledge & positive energy. He made this full day Tour really enjoyable & truly unforgettable. Lucien, the Bus Driver, did a fantastic job of driving for about 200 km each way smoothly & quickly. Stonehenge was an eye opener, full of mystery & wonder with those solstice stones & surroundings. Bath is a lovely pretty town I’d like to visit again some time soon. Roman Baths are amazing! It’s like a Museum with actual hot springs you can touch & even drink! The audio guide is very good, too. There are many breathtaking sights in Bath & I personally adored The Mad Hatter little cafe/restaurant (see photographs). We left London Victoria Station at 8:30 in the morning & got back at 19:30 so imagine the distance. Amazing, fabulous day well worth time & money!

Highly memorable experience

The tour is very well organised and it is an excellent value for money. There is more than enough time to walk around and sightsee both locations and not just run through the places. Kelvin is a wonderful guide with endless energy and a bubbly personality, continuously trying to make everyone comfortable and provide as much info as possible. Lucian, the driver, is also very plesant and punctual. Overall, would be very happy to visit some other sights with Kelvin and Lucian as hosts.
