Stellenbosch Winelands Experience

Description
We have designed the tour in such a way that you get to visit and taste wine at 3 distinctly different wineries in terms of setting, size, production, style of wine and winemaker. A strong focus has been placed on supporting family owned wineries who adhere to ethical labour, agricultural and cellar practices. Some of the most beautiful vineyards in the Southern Hemisphere to tasting wine in the home of one of SA's first female winemakers in her home. This tour has it all.

Itinerary
We start in the historical town of Stellenbosch is our first stop as we delve into the culture rich, foodie haven and vibrant streets. A cup of perfectly brewed local coffee will kick start your day, coupled with something sweet or savory before we head for the mountains.
Thelema Vineyards or Keermont Vineyards : A celebration of smaller vineyards driven by passion, honesty and quality. Our first stop is on the Eastern side of Stellenbosch at the foot of the Helderberg Mountains. This is a special location tucked away in the most northern corner of Paradyskloof (Paradise Valley). Pockets of special vines produce a superlative and memorable first tasting.
Oldenberg Mountain Vineyards: These breath-taking views set the tone for an unforgettable experience – with the focus on letting our guests understand the sense of place and connect truly with the wines. I struggle to believe there is a better setting to taste wine anywhere in the winelands.
Lunch then takes place at either the Boschendal Farm Deli Restaurant
The final wine tasting destination is at a boutique, family owned vineyard called Mitres Edge where we are able to host the tasting in their manor house or private underground wine cellar. She often hosts the tasting herself too!

My wife and I had a great day with Ryan exploring three unique wineries in Stellenbosch. Ryan was very knowledgeable about the local wines and his fun loving personality made for a enjoyable day
We had an amazing wine tour with Dylan Curtis from Reveler Tours! He took us to some incredible wineries—Mitre’s Edge, Thelema, and Oldenburg—each offering fantastic wines and stunning views. Dylan’s deep knowledge and passion for Cape Town made the experience both informative and fun. His connections with the winemakers gave us behind-the-scenes insights, and his easygoing nature made the day even more enjoyable. Everything was well-organized, from the tastings to the scenic drives, and Dylan tailored the experience perfectly. If you’re looking for a top-notch wine tour, this is it!
So good! This is a must for your Cape Town stay. Best wines and best views. Seriously impressive. We went to Thalema, Oldenburg and Mitres farm. Dylan, our guide, was all vibes 👌
Fantastic day. We've been to a number of world class wine regions, but it's very safe to say Stellenbosch is incredible!!! Globally, this is a hidden gem. We had more than enough to drink, and eat. Our guide Dylan was a legend too - highly recommend asking for him when booking ✌️
Dee gave us a great tour of some good quality wineries including family owned business. A quieter experience away from the crowds and insightful commentary from Dee made for a memorable day.
We did two tours with Reveler, this one and the Cape Penninsula. Our guide for both was Dee and she was so much fun! It really felt like a friend showing you around and we were so glad we got to tour with her both days. We loved all three wineries we went to - it was the perfect mix that they all felt different and each of the wine was so good. We bought a bottle from each place and wish we had gotten more. The views everywhere are beautiful and we were so glad we booked this tour. Highly recommend!!
Loved our trip visiting some beautiful vineyards. The tour group was small and made it really personal & we met some new friends. The guide was really knowledgeable & was happy to get involved & answer any questions. Would absolutely recommend this tour to a friend because I had such a great day
Blaine is a great tour guide and takes you to 3 great wineries. We were lucky enough to just have my wife and I on today's tour, kind of like a private tour. Blaine is very approachable and makes you feel very welcomed on this tour.
This was my second tour with Reveler and it was awesome as usual. Blaine is a great guide and an a amazing tour companion. What I like the most about this tour is that we get to experience the smaller wine farms and discover great wines. This is what differentiate Reveler tours from the other wine tour companies. The experience is much more authentic. I highly recommend this tour.
Listen. I did the Exact Same tour twice within a 4-day period! The same one! The same wine experience... that's how phenomenal it was! My mouth was gaping the whole time (of course, from all the wine I was drinking but also) because of how incredible both the experience and the tour companion, Blaine, was. This is such a well balanced and authentic experience. Blaine not only pays attention to the details of the tasting (while going above and beyond to satisfy every one of your preferences throughout), he also ensures that the wineries you visit make wines that are ethically produced and absolutely gorgeous. I must also add that Blaine does a great job of not commercializing the experience. You're allowed to enjoy the wines in any way you prefer. If you're looking to spend your time studying and analyzing the wines extensively, he's super knowledgable; if you want to drink and be merry, he's got the banter too! You will also never feel rushed: the tour goes at whatever pace you're comfortable with and Blaine will never make you feel rushed (despite me drinking at the pace of a baby chihuahua.) Honestly, this made my time in Cape Town unforgettable (which is surprising considering how much I drank.) So if you're looking for an experience that will vividly last with you for years to come [and if you'd like to always have the best South African wine recommendations/gifts] I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS EXPERIENCE ENOUGH. Trust me, I literally did it twice!
