Description

What Makes This Tour Different from Others Its a Journey with Purpose, Not Just a Sightseeing Checklist Unlike typical New York group tours that rush participants past landmarks with minimal context, this experience offers something far more meaningful: a fun carefully crafted narrative journey through American history, resilience, and hope. Two Distinctive Experiences Seamlessly Combined Most group tours force you to choose: either a land-based walking tour or a water-based cruise. This tour brilliantly integrates both. Your group begins with an intimate walking experience through Lower Manhattan's historic streets, then transitions to a boat tour offering completely different perspectives of the same city. It's like getting two premium tours for the price of one, with each element enhancing the other. The walking portion builds anticipation and context, making the Statue of Liberty boat tour far more meaningful than if you simply showed up at a pier.

The guide did not appear-...

The guide did not appear- after calling Viator the guide returned our call after 15mins saying he had not been booked by Viator and would be another 1/2hr before he got to us. We cancelled and are still awaiting refund!

Operator response

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry your tour did not go as planned, however we want to respectfully clarify a few important points for the record. Our guide was positioned at the correct designated meeting location at the agreed-upon time. Unfortunately, it appears there was a miscommunication and your group ended up in a different location. Despite this, our guide was prepared to backtrack — a 30-minute trip — to reach you and ensure your tour took place. Before he had the opportunity to do so, we understand you contacted Viator directly and elected to cancel. Viator advised that the cancellation was valid given the circumstances, and we respected that decision. Regarding the refund — that is processed entirely through Viator, and we encourage you to follow up with them directly if it has not yet been received, as we do not handle payments made through their platform. We genuinely wish your experience had been different. Our guides take great pride in showing visitors New York City, and we hope you will consider giving us another opportunity in the future — where we can ensure a seamless experience from start to finish. Staten Island Tour

Our Staten Island St. George Pizza tour was great. Our tour guide Nancy did an amazing job in giving us the background to Staten Island. The pizza was just as great. The tour owner Michael was so kind and helpful. Sarah and Kelly from Texas highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to visit Staten Island for its history and to check it off your five boroughs of New York check list.

Operator response

Thanks for this great feedback. I do remember you both. I will be sure too to Share this review with Nancy. We hope to see you in Staten Island again. Michael Spence
