What a great way to see vancouver. Me, my wife and two sons did this trip, our tour guide was a lovely lady called Camilla. Camilla showed us and talked about lots of interesting places, landmarks, view points and took some family photos for us. Great way to spend 3 to 4 hours.
Overall, this was a nice tour around Vancouver and Stanley Park. Most of the time was spent in Stanley Park, and we were very happy with what we saw there. The time in Granville Island market was fairly short, considering how crowded the market was and the number of things to see there. Luckily, we had already planned to go to the market on another day. There was one notable thing that left our family a bit frustrated. We specifically booked this tour because it said there was an e-bike option, and our family really enjoys e-bikes. As instructed, we tried to contact the tour/bike company in advance to find out more about upgrading to e-bikes. Getting this information was difficult/unattainable. We were just told to upgrade at the bike shop when we arrived. Ultimately, at the bike shop we were told that the e-bike upgrade would be $84 PER BIKE (just for the upgrade) on the day of the tour…. and we could only do this through Toonie Tours (even though there was a sign in the bike shop that renting an e-bike was $64 for a half-day). This upgrade would have nearly doubled the cost of the tour that we had already booked. Needless to say, we didn’t do the upgrade… and we felt swindled.
I’ve been lucky enough to travel quite a bit in my life, and this is the best tour experiences I’ve had. Ana was a wonderful guide!
We had an excellent bike ride with our very kind guide Fio
Tomas the tour guide was so passionate and knowledgeable. We were fortunate enough to be the only ones on our tour so went at our pace. The tour is such a brilliant and quick way to see Vancouver especially as we only had 24 hours there. The bikes were in really great condition and we were on cycle paths the whole time or through Stanley Park.
The city bike tour is brilliant. All the best sights are covered and with the expert knowledge of the guide you will gain a lot of history about Vancouver. Our tour guide was Tomas who is exceptionally passionate about Vancouver. We were fortunate enough to have a private tour with him and he personalised the tour to our wishes. We covered so much of the city in the time and it really gives you a great insight into areas that you want to return to. Highly recommend this tour. Good bikes and 99% is in bicycle lanes so perfectly safe.
Mary was an exceptional tour guide on our BigBus Vancouver night tour departing 730pm. Mary was very knowledgeable and helpful with all our queries too. We loved the Lions Gate bridge and English Bay with the Amazing Laughing sculptures. We loved our real person/talking guide Mary and much better than any recorded audio tours. Thank you Mary and our Busdriver too :)
Anna was an excellent bike tour guide, we’ve never been in Vancouver and we both felt we got to know it ‘s history, and special places like Stanley Park. I’d highly recommend this tour! We had great weather, too!
Fantastic bike tour that took us to places we would have otherwise not seen! Ana was great and very knowledgeable. We had opportunities to stop and look around several times. I highly recommend this tour and the upgrade to an e-bike!
We had a small group 2 married couples with a guide. So really special. Daniel, our guide, did a great job. Be prepared it is an 11 mile ride, mostly flat, but still not for a person who does not bike regularly.
"Thank you so much! We're thrilled you enjoyed the intimate, small-group experience and that Daniel did such a great job. We really appreciate your helpful tip about the 11-mile distance—while it's flat and scenic, you're totally right that a baseline comfort with biking makes it much more fun! We'll pass your praise to Daniel and hope to welcome you back for another ride!"
